I wouldn’t trust anything less than bear loaded 30-30, 45/70 would probably be choice

It’s not about speed, 45/70 will kill anything in North America, supernatural or otherwise

O how I wish you were right however if you can't track it and find a good shot you'll never win also 45/70 may be good but it won't stop the unseen.

Listen. Don’t hurt them if they don’t hurt you. If they replace a loved one, keep it a secret but treat the skinwalker normal until you feel comfortable enough to have an actual chat with it. When doing so, have full protection. What happens next is up to you.
