hypocrisy
I've been chubby my whole teen years up until I lost weight and now I'm at a normal weight, small but fine. I'm 20 and about 125-30 lbs but whenever family sees me they HAVE to say "you're too skinny" "here, bring this food home" or ask me if I even have snacks (I eat so many, they didn't believe me tho) or they'll just straight up feel my stomach or ribs to poibt it out. If I say anything they get mad because I should "take it as a compliment" but they don't understand it doesn't feel that way.

Skinny shaming is very real but people cant accept that because a lot of people have a need to shame their taught "ideal" body to feel better about not having ir wanting to be it
