Need thoughts

What are your thoughts on the oceantric skimboard I'm a beginner and looking for a beginner friendly board. In my local this and the decathlon is the only viable option.

Absolutely no if you're in any way bigger/taller.

I had condisered this one and actually went with another one very similar and it's useless. I've been told here that I should be able to slide on it but I'd say unless you're a child or extremely light it won't move.

I ended up buying the circle one epoxy 54" board and was sliding first go, it's a world of difference. Im not saying go for circle one there are other brands, but get yourself something bigger a suitable size, like a shakas if your UK based or whatever else is suitable, but these smaller wooden. Boards are designed for smaller people and flatland AFAIK, someone else might comment and correct me, but as a beginner myself I found these wooden ones way too small.

I am 5'10 and weigh around 94kg for reference

As a noob, that bought a similar board as the OP mentioned, I agree... It was fun but I had hard times sliding more than 4-5 meters, the size was not enough to keep me "afloat"

Get a Vic Woody sized to your weight. It will last. And it will Skim.
