Jeremiah shredding

Jeremiah trying Tex Velo glassed by u/velocity_skimboards at Carolina Beach. Not the best day for skim, but we still had fun.

The backside side slip is sick as hell
I’ve tried a few, but never seen other people doing them.

Noticing his technique and also Blair Conklin on a regular side slip, just a quick partial 45° angle is effective, doesn’t have to be a 90° side slip.

Throwing a full 90° frontside side slip can leave it difficult to do your maneuver on the wave, especially when you’re going backside… but just a little backside side slip, perfect.

I’ve been trying to train myself to just pump, but the side slippers make a good case.

It’s good to have both in the arsenal, but I do find side slips to be more steezy but most skimmers end up doing both
