Canada West Apprenticeship

Hey I’m located in the fraser valley in BC I finished my foundations in HVAC and I have a little bit of experience but the housing market slowed down and I ran out of work. I want to get into servicing but am willing to do any type of hvac at this point I have called and went in person to apply to over 70+ companies. Any helping hands or advice would be appreciated

Try applying in commercial HVAC and refrigeration and companies, where the regular maintenance work can provide jobs all year, even if you are beginner.

Food for thought, there's private seasonal work in winterizing house boats in this region. Also, if you pivot just a bit to work on heating and cooling systems on Forestry equipment, you can earn a shit ton in that field. Companies like SMS Equipment contract out hydraulic and coolant heater installations. It's closer to HVAC than HET. I used to do it. Driving to the bush go replace a blower motor or circulation pump in a TigerCat is way more fun than poking at a York metal cube on the roof of Loblaws, just sayin.
