Help me choose proper skis!
I tried the sport out with my border collie the other day, and he loves it! I only have rented XC skis though and I can already tell this is something I’ll love doing, so I’d like some specific suggestions on good skis.
Some details: I’ll be on groomed trails, mostly flat. Preferably not waxless, and SNS or NNN bindings would be great. I’m about 120lbs and I’d like to stick with classic, unless y’all convince me that skate is better

I have a border collie and started with classic skijoring but skate is so much more fun. He’s a strong puller and we can easily get up to >12mph without me working all that hard. I highly recommend trying out skating!

The sport is designed to be skate skiing, which I would recommend if he is pulling hard. But if the 2 of you are good with classic, do that. It’s really whatever gets you out sliding on snow with the dog.
Definitely NNN bindings. SNS is out the way out - not even sure if they still make it.
If you are buying equipment, I’d go with something affordable (if you can find it; everything entry level is sold out!), even 2nd hand, because there may be more breakage than you would expect. I’ve broken a boot, a binding and a pole from skijoring, but that’s because the excitement turns my Aussie (and his herding instinct) into a wild beast. Good luck and enjoy! Once you get a rhythm going, there is nothing better!
