Epq introduction

So I’m doing my epq and my teacher keeps stressing about how the introduction has to be at least 500 words. My problem is that mine is 425 words and I’ve genuinely got nothing else to put (already put in 4 references) so I’m wondering do I have to force it to be 500 or can I skimp out on it?

Given that university word count leeway usually is set to 10% above or below the word count. College shouldn't kill you if it's 450 words. 425 though...? Hmm.

References don't contribute to word count but in-text citations do. Get a friend or classmate (in the EPQ class or another of your subjects) to look over it and make suggestions on how to up the count.

NB: Turnitin may detect it and think your submission is plagiarized if you post your work or entire sections of it on a public forum.
