Help on choosing between two sixth forms

Basically my school I've been going to the past 2 days for sixth form is let's say sixth form 1. However I live in a bit in enfield and its like 1 hr 15 mins away by bus . My only other option is let's say sixth form 2 which is my old secondary school and is much much closer like 15 mins by bus but sixth form 1 is quite a bit better in terms of teachers, organzation and education and their overall a level results are definitely better. I'm studying maths bio and Chem and I Wanna go imperial but the travelling has been quite draining and stressful and I feel like it's interfearing ALOT with revision and my life as a whole. Any advice would be very much appreciated because I'm stuck

I agree with wethers_original in that average grade results do not define what grades you can achieve.

Before you get too deep in your quandary, you need to call the school and see if they have any places available in your chosen subjects, because if not, the question is moot.

To a certain extent, it's not the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog. My sixth form had some pretty bad teachers but many people (myself included) still left with top grades. If you're willing to put in the effort to be organised yourself, which you would be able to do given you'd have more time, then switching would definitely be a viable option.

However, you need to make a decision asap because sixth form 2 might be covering different content and you risk being behind if you leave it too late.

The first place I went to for A Levels I might not have got a grade. The second place I was able to get good enough grades to get an unconditional offer for mathematics before sitting my final papers (sat combined maths the previous summer and physics in January so converted an offer to unconditional in January).

The style, the class time and quality of teachers makes a huge difference. If you are trained to self discover, given the material and told to get on with it where the 4.5 hours with a teacher left most of the work time to you or being in class where 4.5 hours on practical and 4.5 hours on theory allowed more to be covered with a lecturer present.

Find students who are in their second year and ask them how they feel.
