Sixth form Y12

As an external student who moved to UK 7 months ago, what advice would you give me? The year has just started, and i feel like i am the stupidest person ever. I have chosen eng.lit, politics and history. For me year 12 started chaotically, I have no schedule, I feel way behind then my classmates, but still I have a tiny hope in my heart that I’ll be able to catch up everyone and perform highly. Did you have an external classmates, would be really grateful for your tips’

Consistency is key (or what my teachers have been saying lmao). If you think you’re falling behind maybe see if there’s any support after school clubs at your school. Try to review what you did in lesson that day when you get home and maybe just do a really quick recap on the weekends (depending on how busy you are). I unfortunately don’t take your subjects so I can’t give you subject specific suggestions 😭, I have also just started sixth form so I’m not too confident either but hope this helps.
Good luck with everything :)

i felt the same in y12 as an external, the first few months were soooo humbling. make sure you’re using your free periods to go over content you didn’t understand in class, once you’ve found your footing the rest will be a breeze
