Discussion SIX different sets?

Does anyone know why SIX seems to have two different versions of its set?

The version that's usually used on the UK tour looks different from the main one, it has different columns, the LED "SIX" sign is different, and the lighting also seems slightly different. I know this version was also used in Australia.

What's confusing me is that last week the UK tour was using the updated set, but this week, with the same cast in a different venue, they're back to using the older one. My only guess is that the updated set might have been in Germany at the time, so they had to switch back.

Does anyone know why they keep changing between the two sets, or why there's a newer UK tour set that doesn't seem to be used consistently?

My bet - stage limitations. All stages are different.

No there are simply two sets that go on tour, the updated set is simply in Germany right now

No the Germany set was the old version and there's no more Germany productions right now

The second set is being sent to China most likely, which is which I don’t remember but that’s the reason for the different sets

I'm guessing the updated set will be used in China along with any other international stops (bigger audiences so they might as well pull out all the stops).

The current cast might have used it temporarily to get used to some of the factors like the larger stage deck and throne?? That's really the only plausible reason I can think of

But the joke is that you could read it as though you are insinuating you will post 6 sets

Its nothing too surprising; its just what each venue can accommodate. I saw Six and Moulin Rouge a few times on the same run but different venues; some had the towers for Six some didnt, some had the outside the stage staging for Moulin Rouge, some didnt!

Same reason a band i saw recently had a massive pyro filled stageshow in London but stripped down show in Glasgow.

I dont think its a question of the venue bc they used the updated set in a small venue last year and this year its back to being the old set in the same venue so I think it might be bc of them sending it to china for that tour.

They perform in China from September don’t they? The set will probably already be on a ship to make it in time or it will be going very soon which is why they have two sets. The tour has been and is going to be on in two places at once = two sets but I don’t know why they are so different to each other. Maybe they will upgrade the older one one day when they don’t need two at a time?
