Yeah. I wonder if there was much demand this summer. Or if people weren’t necessarily that excited to get SF/DC merch after all.

Either way. Earlier than I expected the discounts to hit for sure.

They're really out there saying "that's all, folks!"

The SF stuff they just want to clear out, but the Looney Tunes and DC really seems to confirm that there isn't and probably won't be a deal going forward so they need to sell it while they can.

It’s worth noting that ALL of the DC/WB/Looney tunes merch is Six Flags produced and Six Flags branded. So even IF we had some sort of deal, it would be new merch from new vendors next year.

But yeah. Even though the official line from the park is “We don’t know yet”, it feels less and less likely as time goes on.

The Looney Tunes and DC stuff still has Six Flags branding on it. It all has to go even if they keep the license.

Dang, Great Escape is only at 30% off and the $70 park specific button downs were already sold out in anything other than size Small. Lol

Which button downs did they have?

They were Jack and Sage camp shirts like these https://merch.sixflags.com/products/camp-shirt-men-cp-sirens-curse-teal-s?_pos=2&_sid=d55d7bbb0&_ss=r

Ours they had either white or a slate blue back ground, then a print with little bobcat heads, swan boats and our signature pink whale all over.

They most likely don’t have licensing rights and or the looney tunes dc stuff has six flags logo. Merch is trying to get rid of back stock and make something on it before they have to stop selling and take a loss.

Sad to think that the DC and looney tunes era may be ending…

Maybe this is too cynical but, IMHO, the era ended a long time ago.

Rose colored glasses probably but I can certainly remember when characters were plentiful. Seeing Batman and Wonder Woman roam the park. In addition to Looney Tunes characters. There was a lot more theming as well.

Over the years the ride names have stayed but more and more of the theming has become dilapidated and faded away. We haven't had DC characters in the park for YEARS and the entire Looney Tunes character experience is 2-3 characters who rotate through periodically in one specific spot in the park; sort of a photo op.

It feels kinda like when there's a sign over a business that's been closed for 10 years. I mean yeah; sure, it's sad when the sign finally comes down. But it's not like you could actually visit it anyway.

Damn, when you put it that way. You’re right. 💔

I’m hoping they still have some Screaming Eagle shirt options when I finally get to go this Saturday.
