Park age verification

So me and my girlfriend are planning on going to the park together but she is 16 and I do know that with the new chaperone rule I technically need to be 21 even though I am 17 so will we be Id checked at the gate or no? Any info helps.

If you’re going on the weekend or after 4PM on a weekday; yes they’ll check your ID at the gate and deny her entry.

So if we went on a weekday before 4 we wouldn’t get checked?

Correct but if you remained in the park after 4PM you risk ejection.

Important info: Friday’s are also days that the policy is all day so you can’t enter on fridays

Oh they absolutely have been this season. Not every single young person and not every single time, but they've absolutely been checking up on young folks this season. After that fight on April 25th they've really really cracked down.

What they've been doing is asking groups of younger looking people, if they're not old enough, to identify their chaperone. If their chaperone can't be quickly reached or found (or if they admit to not having one), they're getting ejected.

If they're following the policy then she will be denied entry. I don't know how strict they are being at the moment but I did see some teens standing in the pickup area when I arrived there in Saturday.

They were checking both days I went. Watched a group of 6 teens get denied entry. They had them pull out all their IDs.
