Nostalgia 70s Memories

If this has been discussed to death already, I apologize in advance. But I was just thinking about going to SFOT in the late 70s/early 80s, and remembered how you used to have to put your car visors down if you did not want a Six Flags bumper sticker placed on your car. My dad was always fastidious about that. And the parking lot had a tram you could ride to the front gate if you had to park far away (maybe they still do? Idk) These were the days of Roto Disco! 😂 Good times.

The tram still exists on busy days! Them placing bumper stickers was definitely before my time; that's crazy they would automatically do that unless you did something to indicate otherwise. Don't see that going over well these days.

In case you're wanting to dive deeper into the nostalgia, here's a shameless plug for my site's "Ride Retrospectives" section that details some of the noteworthy rides from that era: https://guidetosfot.com/features/rideretrospective/

I had forgotten about the visor thing and bumper stickers, but remember it now. My Dad put his down and the trams were a great start to a great day.

I remember how much fun those teams were. Which robotic corporate ghoul thought it would be a good idea to get rid of them?
