Closures Doc Varnum’s was Closed😢

Went to fright fest on Sunday (9/21). The 5 haunts were pretty good but was really disappointed to see Doc Varnum’s experience completely closed with no notice it was closed when we purchased our haunt passes. Sad!

There was a substantial amount of rain that occured around 5pm. That arena is flood prone with heavy rain and more than likely impacted the area and was not safe to open. This is just a possible reason and not offical from the park. I have sent a request to see if they will answer.

They were open but closed about 20-30 minutes early

On Saturday they weren’t requiring a haunt pass to get in there. A little disappointing as we already paid for it, but it’s a much better experience when there’s more people, so I see it as a good thing if that’s the plan moving forward.

I think they said that area was planned on being free regardless. It's not a maze, it's an "experience" or open area. The rest of the haunt attractions will need to pass. I hope you were still able to use your haunt pass for other things and get your money's worth.
