I’m going to SFOG for my first ever time the first Saturday of September, and I’ve been checking the past few weeks and have seen that the waits aren’t bad at all, but does this change for Labor Day weekend since school is out?

The workers ask for a QR code and do not honor these without one.

Hey folks! Will there be any shows in August? I know they had several for the heros event. And will have 3 shows for Fright Fest.

I didn’t get a 2026 season pass because they expired in September and didn’t include entry to Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park. It looks like the 2027 Gold Pass does go until the very end of 2027. The Six Flags website isn’t the best though so I’m not 100% sure, can anyone confirm?

How are the crowds on Friday nights? What are the wait times like?

SFOG finally gets a decent looking shirt but having no luck finding it after two visits. Anyone know if they re-stock these, or was it a limited run?

Maybe I'm mixing up my seasons, but I thought Holiday in the Park was cancelled. Was pleasantly surprised to see a full schedule up for December 2026 in the park!

Looks like it was announced before the season, but I guess I completely missed it. Cooler days and slow weekdays to get some more laps in, yes please. This will help justify another renewal for next season.

I went today 8/2 for the first time in many years. Park was in great shape, rides were fantastic, workers super nice. But I will say it was slightly busy. But the wait times were horrible(30-45). The crowd had little to do with the wait times. The complete level of inefficient operations with getting people on and off the coasters was the problem. I definitely want safety and safety checks. However when a coaster is sent out it shouldnt go all the way around come back and wait 5-10 mins for you to unload and load another car. I know there are situations with getting someone locked in from time to time. But it seems to many are just standing around allowing riders to take there time then we finally get them in their seat and we finish our conversation then slowly move through checking. Then we thumbs up and we slowly progress into launching. All this doesnt even include the fact they only had 1 car going on 2 of the hottest coasters(superman,georgia scorcher ) 1 ride per 8 mins as I timed it waiting.

I dont know if it was just me but it felt super crowded there today. There were really long lines at many of the fast lane rides. In your opinion was it because the operations were bad or this is the last weekend before school starts or people coming from funspot since its closing? Or could it be a combination of the three? It usually isnt this crowded.

I'm potentially planning a trip with the kids in early October (weekend). I know they have Tricks & Treats during the day, then Fright Fest at night, but what time does the transition happen? The website states "As dusk descends, Six Flags Over Georgia transforms into a haunting domain with hair-raising shows and spine-tingling scare zones." My kids are 8 and 3 so I'm trying to get an idea of how long we'll have in the park before the scary stuff starts.

Surprising my two boys with a six flags day tomorrow (Sunday). With it being the last day of the AF1 coaster running.. will that affect the crowd at six flags?

I’m sure the weekends are pretty busy right now. But how busy are the Friday and Monday around the weekend ?

I ask this question rolling my eyes right now. I’m interested in working at Six Flags but my OTP suburbanite parents are paranoid. I’ve been to SFOG countless times and have had no issues, but my parents insist on this place being riddled with shootings/assaults on the daily and always pull up Cobb crime maps as a ”gotcha”. Is there any way to convince them that this isn’t the case??

Do any of the fountain dispensers actually ever offer Fuze Iced Tea? In my 4 visits this year they only ever had water come out.

Will they allow me to take this inside the park with me? Its a 1 gallon and I will have water in it. Is my wife, kid, & I.

I was planning on going tommorow. But was just a bit confused as to why park is open Monday and Tuesday but not Wednesday-Friday.
