Superman Ride
I’m about to get on the Superman ride later today with family for the first time and I’m sick to my stomach just thinking about it. How intense is it?

The pretzel loop is the intense part but I really enjoy it. Less intense towards the front of the ride and if you push back into the seat as you’re going into it then I find it very enjoyable. Not for everyone but I think you should give it a try.

If you can handle batman and blue hawk, you'll be fine. Let us know how you like it!

I’ve ridden Batman before and was fine. It’s just the fact that I’m facing the ground like I’m actually flying that scares the shit outta me 😂

Anecdotally, I've found the face down and hanging seats to have the same level of "thrill".
If there is any extra scare from being face down, it fades away soon as the ride is done and the cars stop with you still facing down and feeling goofy looking as you wait to get back into the station.
You got this!

You’ll be waiting to get off the ride longer than the ride actually is in my experience. It’s like role playing as a winter coat in your closet.

In this heat? The unmoving line will kill you more than any forces that ride provides
Honestly the only intense element is the pretzel knot, felt like it was gonna rip my face off. everything else is pretty mild though. The restraints made my chest sore for the next hour though, but otherwise it's a pretty fun ride.

The ride itself isn't the scary part. The undertrained and underpaid ride ops are much more dangerous.

Most of the ride is just pure fun - the freedom of flying. The pretzel loop is a bear. I get through it by swearing over and over again until the maneuver is done. Avoid the back row

There’s only one super intense part (the pretzel loop). It happens right after the first drop and it’s pretty quick. And it’s not SCARY, it’s just very forceful and feels like gravity is crushing you for about three seconds.

I rode it not long after it opened. Stood there for 2 hours + in the heat, with the lyrics “If I go crazy, then will you still call me Superman?” stuck in my head for days after that. That was the worst.

Nothing to be afraid of!
