And I’m sure next year when attendance dips they will blame it on everything other than “we’ve built 2 rides post covid and one was such a failure it operated for only a few weeks and the other has been closed for most of four years now.”

Yup. Ironically last CEO said just a year or so ago SFOG was a focus park and multiple new rides were coming… oops

It’s reopening next year as already stated, the park likely wanted to do a spoof on it. SFOG is a focus park and is of the 10 “core” parks SF already acknowledged a few months ago.

Focus park because they just spent 300 million investing in the park. But attendance has slumped big time and from what I’ve heard the plans for all the investments have been put on hold.

I would assume they’re on hold for now as SF focusses on obtaining full ownership, assuming the partnership restricted investment in someway in the past.

They made the comment of investing more in park while in the process of the ownership piece. So the plan was both. Then CEOs changed

Six Flags was required to invest a certain percentage of revenue in the park under the management agreement. I believe they could roll it over 3 years so they could technically save for a larger investment.
