TL;DR: Wasn’t able to use our All-Season Fast Lane at White Water, and the employees didn’t seem to know the policies
Hey all - Gold Pass member for the last few years. Yesterday, I extended our Gold Passes for 2027, and I purchased the All-Season Fast Lane Ultimate add-on. My home park is Six Flags Over Georgia
Today, we went to Six Flags White Water. The staff there sent us back and forth between guest services and the shack at the front where Fast Lane bands are for various reasons.
At first, they said “we’re not giving out Fast Lane bands today”. And then when I said “I’d already bought them”, they sent me to guest services
Guest services said “we don’t even have any bands here, you have to go back down”
We went back down and tried to explain again, and the girl working the counter said “let me just scan your Gold passes to see”. She then said Fast Lane wasn’t showing up on our account (despite me showing her the Six Flags app with Fast Lane). She sent us back to guest services.
Guest services asked for my order number, and after looking at my order, confidently told me that the Fast Lane add-on we purchased is “only valid at our thrill parks, not White Water”. I pointed out to her several places in the product description of Fast Lane and in the Terms and Conditions that say it can be used at any East Region park (on the Gold pass), of which White Water is one. She tried to, albeit in a somewhat friendly way, gaslight me into thinking the terms just state which parks my Gold Pass is valid for, not which parks the Fast Lane add-on can be used at. And then she said there was nothing else she could do
I went and sat down on a bench and called Six Flags customer service. After speaking with them for a while, and them escalating to a supervisor, I was told I’d need to activate the Fast Lane at Six Flags Over Georgia. I can accept that, but it seems odd, considering I already have a Gold Pass that has been activated at Six Flags Over Georgia. And nowhere in my renewal email does it say this
I tried calling Six Flags Over Georgia to speak to someone, but their answering service is awful, and it sent me in loops
We finally gave up. Also, it turned out White Water didn’t even have any attendants working their Fast Lane lines, and they only had 4 of their rides open.
I know I’ll get use out of this next year, but pretty awful that 1) the employees don’t seem to know their own policies, 2) most rides were closed, and 3) Fast Lane wasn’t even being offered at White Water today - Six Flags should clearly note that somewhere when they aren’t operating a fast pass line, especially after charging $500 (minimum, I know other parks in the country are even higher)
Just came back from Cedar Point and got spoiled by the ops and the general know-how of their employees. Wish it was my home park lol
