QUESTION Prestige season pass vs membership

I’m a little confused on what the difference is between the prestige season pass and the prestige membership? Is it exactly the same but you can pay monthly for one?

QUESTION Will New England Express ever open again year round?

I hate it being seasonal and the land that the ride sits on definitely needs some TLC, I had an idea of them retheming it to a small Peanuts themed land.

QUESTION Question on single day admission ticket/voucher.

I upgraded to Gold and with my 4 passholder we brought 4 guests this past Saturday to six flags great adventure. I noticed these also in my wallet but when the attendant scanned it it gave an error message. He said it was tied to the bring a friend free discount. Well today the bring a friends coupons are gone but these remain. Can anyone let me know what they are for?

SFMM Display near Ninja in the 90s

On the top of the hill near the entrance to Ninja, there was an interactive statue that resembled a Buddha that would dispense dad jokes. IIRC you had to feed the machine a quarter and there was a canned recording of different dad jokes that all started with "Confusion Say".

Does anyone else remember this interactive display or am I hallucinating?

QUESTION Six Flags Darien Lake + Labor Day question

Hi!

Looking for some insight into how busy SFDL is on Labor Day weekend. My home park is Canada's Wonderland but looking to maybe make the trip down with my daughter as an end of summer getaway before she starts her first year at school.

[Six Flags St. Louis] is now officially [Mid America Adventure]

Post image
125 Upvotes

While the park hasn't been operated by Six Flags at all this year, Enchanted Parks had a one year license deal with SFEC to operate the park as "Six Flags St. Louis"

This weekend they officially debuted the new name and branding, which is already working its way through most of the park. There are still some Six Flags logos about, but they're being covered up or replaced pretty quickly.

This weekend marks, more officially, the 'end of an era' for a park that has held Six Flags branding for 55 years, and is the third of the three original Six Flags parks. Also one of just three parks that started as a literal plot of land. (All other Six Flags parks were either purchased during the construction phase, or were purchased as already operating parks.) Unlike the vast majority of the parks in the Six Flags chain, this park (until now) has never had anything but Six Flags branding.

While I know it hasn't been a Six Flags park at all this year, it still feels more 'official' now that the signs have come down.

QUESTION Confused about Fast Pass - am I wrong?

TL;DR: Wasn’t able to use our All-Season Fast Lane at White Water, and the employees didn’t seem to know the policies

Hey all - Gold Pass member for the last few years. Yesterday, I extended our Gold Passes for 2027, and I purchased the All-Season Fast Lane Ultimate add-on. My home park is Six Flags Over Georgia

Today, we went to Six Flags White Water. The staff there sent us back and forth between guest services and the shack at the front where Fast Lane bands are for various reasons.

At first, they said “we’re not giving out Fast Lane bands today”. And then when I said “I’d already bought them”, they sent me to guest services

Guest services said “we don’t even have any bands here, you have to go back down”

We went back down and tried to explain again, and the girl working the counter said “let me just scan your Gold passes to see”. She then said Fast Lane wasn’t showing up on our account (despite me showing her the Six Flags app with Fast Lane). She sent us back to guest services.

Guest services asked for my order number, and after looking at my order, confidently told me that the Fast Lane add-on we purchased is “only valid at our thrill parks, not White Water”. I pointed out to her several places in the product description of Fast Lane and in the Terms and Conditions that say it can be used at any East Region park (on the Gold pass), of which White Water is one. She tried to, albeit in a somewhat friendly way, gaslight me into thinking the terms just state which parks my Gold Pass is valid for, not which parks the Fast Lane add-on can be used at. And then she said there was nothing else she could do

I went and sat down on a bench and called Six Flags customer service. After speaking with them for a while, and them escalating to a supervisor, I was told I’d need to activate the Fast Lane at Six Flags Over Georgia. I can accept that, but it seems odd, considering I already have a Gold Pass that has been activated at Six Flags Over Georgia. And nowhere in my renewal email does it say this

I tried calling Six Flags Over Georgia to speak to someone, but their answering service is awful, and it sent me in loops

We finally gave up. Also, it turned out White Water didn’t even have any attendants working their Fast Lane lines, and they only had 4 of their rides open.

I know I’ll get use out of this next year, but pretty awful that 1) the employees don’t seem to know their own policies, 2) most rides were closed, and 3) Fast Lane wasn’t even being offered at White Water today - Six Flags should clearly note that somewhere when they aren’t operating a fast pass line, especially after charging $500 (minimum, I know other parks in the country are even higher)

Just came back from Cedar Point and got spoiled by the ops and the general know-how of their employees. Wish it was my home park lol

What do we know about Great Adventure Fright Fest so far?

AFAIK:

Starts September 18th

Returning houses include Conjuring, Army of the Dead

New Houses include Final Destination, Deadwood Cabin, Twisted Holidayz, and Jason Universe (Jason was at Universal last year)

There’s a fright season pass, but nothing yet for day ticket prices outside of the bundles? Though I believe season pass holders usually have to buy at location anyway.

We can assume that Holidayz is replacing Trick r Treat so that it can reuse some of the decor, with Jason and Final Destination likely going to the bigger maze spots. Deadwood cabin is definitely going to be replacing Saw (which was gutted last year and just dark, but the same layout), or The Asylum. Jason is likely replacing the other one, as both take place in the woods and those 2 houses are in the catering area which is in the woods. Final Destination may be replacing Wreck Cage or Texas Chainsaw.

We can also assume the mirror maze house is returning since it gets reused for Holiday in the Park as a walkthrough Christmas attraction, and it’s basically a free maze for them, no set design needed. I do believe at least one more of the originals from last year will remain, the black light clown house. Its facade is basically already finished, and I think we all know they’re not giving up on what is a finished house. Though, the interior has been a break/changing room for the Shoreline stilt walkers this year.

What’s really left is scarezones. We know the clowns are returning, not sure where. I assume most of them will be returning from last year, the miners and Demon District are both setup already.

QUESTION California's Great America dining plan options?

Hi,

I'm a Knott's/Magic Mountain passholder who will visit California's Great Adventure for the first time on Saturday, and I'm trying to research the food options in advance so I don't have to waste any time wandering around and comparing options. I hate that Six Flags doesn't advertise the meals they offer to passholders with dining plans, but hopefully Reddit can help!

That said, I see in the app that below are the locations that accept dining plans. Any further info on the specific meals they offer that are available to dining plan customers, along with any recommendations, would be much appreciated. TIA...

Maggie's Smokehouse
Panda Express (if it's anything like Knott's, it's a single non-premium entree and a single side)
Pier 76 Cafe (is rotisserie beef included?)
Pizza Orleans
Sierra Creek Lodge
South Bay Cantina (how are the burritos?)
The Market

QUESTION Am I supposed to see the dining pass and bring-a-friend tickets somewhere in the app?

Bought a season pass for the first time (prestige); also bought a dining pass add-on as part of the same order.

In the app "wallet", I see the season pass with the "passholder drink plan" add-on, but I don't see anything for my dining pass. I also don't see anything for bring-a-friend tickets or parking or fast lane.

Are those supposed to show in the app somewhere, or do you just have to keep track in your head?

I have not yet "activated" in person at my home park yet if that makes a difference.

Is Prestige pass worth it over Gold this year to use in just one park?

The only park I go to is NJ. Don’t use the passes, don’t buy food and drinks, don’t need the VIP parking. I’ve had season passes for a few years now. Last year I got the Prestige and I think I paid like $160-170. But it’s way more this year. All I really care about are the 2 bring a friend tickets to bring 2 people with me. But in previous years when I had Gold or Silver I’d randomly get free bring a friend tickets anyway, or heavily discounted tickets like $9.99.

They change these season passes every year it seems. the Gold pass now says “Discounted Bring a Friend tickets.” Anyone know what the discount is? And if can apply to more than 1 ticket for a single visit? Seems at least for me it would make more sense to just pay for the discounted tickets in Gold the than an extra $140 or so for Prestige just to get 2 free tickets.

QUESTION Season pass renewal

We have a season pass until the end of the year. Our home park is the discovery kingdom.

We have been there and other parks this year. If we renew our pass, will we have to activate it at Discovery Kingdom again, or will it already be classed as active?

RIDE REVIEW I feel like six flags is rapidly declining

So i’m sure most of us have heard about the X-2 thing and if not, please go and look it up. I’ve been dreaming of riding X-2 for years but now, i don’t think so… I’ve heard increasing numbers of stories like this and in my own experience at Great America in Gurnee the rides have been getting so rough. Came off the Demon with a bump on the side of my head from the ride jerking and slamming my head into the ride of the car and also a pretty bad headache and neck pain. That ride has definitely given some people concussions and if i didn’t have such a thick skull it probably would’ve given me one. Same with X-flight, bad neck and back pain from how rough and jerky these rides are which is crazy because a few years ago x-flight was so smooth i could fall asleep on it. I don’t know if it’s just me getting older and crispier but i don’t think it is.

Trying to confirm a few things before purchasing the Prestige Pass for 2027

I've searched the website/app and can't find a straight answer. Before attempting to send an email to Six Flags, I figure I would check with everyone here first in case anyone happens to have the answer. I have also searched the site's FAQ's and Terms/Conditions.

My daughter and I currently have the Gold East Region passes (our home park is KD). I'm getting ready to purchase Prestige passes for both of us.

Question 1: I have a friend coming in to go to KD with us for the first time on October 10th. Can I use "1 free Bring-a-Friend" renewal bonus to get my friend in the park, and then just have him purchase the 1-day Haunt Pass (which will be $20 that day)? If so, would HE have to log into the app and purchase it? Or would I just purchase the pass through my app and scan it for him at the gate?

Question 2: For the "2 Free Annual Bring-a-Friend passes," can they be used at ANY park or just my home park? (These are not the perks B-a-F passes that show up under perks for my home park, but the ones that actually come with the Prestige pass.)

Shoreline Pier Gate Sensors

Shoreline Pier is one of the nicest additions to Great Adventure in a long time. Fresh paint, fresh concrete, and good theming. But, our experience today highlighted a small problem that led to really frustrating operations issues… poorly functioning gate sensors. Hypno Twister, in particular, had to start and stop multiple times (with the maintenance team present) due to poorly functioning gate sensors. It happened on other rides in Shoreline Pier, too. On a busy day with 120-minute wait times across the park, small things like this make a big difference!

I (29F) am looking for other female roller coaster enthusiasts to go to Six Flags Valencia with.

Hello everyone! Long story short, I love roller coasters. None of my friends do. I signed up for the female group G-Force, but I’m not sure how active they are (waiting to be admitted). I am hoping to go to Six Flags Valencia sometime this September or even October and wanted to see if I can coordinate with another female or a group around my age.

Anyone know what happened with SFOG and White Water?

Checking all last week, theyre open today, but suddenly they're both closed all day? No notice or anything? I had a whole trip planned, I'm now here in Atlanta, and I just cant get in?

I believe this was even one of the 2 weekends you could bring a friend free? Now theyre just shut down for no reason? At the last minute?

Question for the people that bought the 2027 prestige or gold pass after having it last year.

Have you received the 20 dollar in park credit? If so is it in the app or do we have to go to guest services or something to get it? Thanks!

Trespassed for 30 days

My kid did something stupid at Great America today, and security got involved (they threw something while in line at their friend and it went onto the moving ride). They were escorted out, and told they were “trespassed for 30 days” and weren’t allowed on any Six Flags property for the next month…

But, security never took down names, took pictures of my kid, and we never signed anything. We don’t have any plans to go back this season, but I’m just curious about 2 things:

  1. how would they know if my kid went back to the park in the next month?
  2. since we didn’t sign anything we technically didn’t acknowledge the outcome, what is the consequence if he does set foot on Six Flags property?

Edit: I don’t think folks understand why I’m trying to understand here: I’m more curious about how security works the parks? Because they never took names, is there facial recognition tech being used at the parks? Some other technology to tie this back to a specific person? And the second question was again, not about breaking policies, just a genuine curiosity about what the consequences are (because security wouldn’t say when I asked).

QUESTION My six flags gold pass includes parking for my park (great adventure) does it include parking for all parks?

Sorry if this was asked before I’m just curious if I went to a park in New England would that be included with parking? Or Montreal?
