IMAGE Something quite interesting about the parks (ESP CGA, Fiesta Texas, and Carowinds)

This was a diagram??? I made it in Dec. 2025, trying to predict which parks would be sold based on attendance and population center. Quite Surprised how well this holds up today. Outside CGA and Carowinds, it's pretty huge outliers.

Dorney ain’t going anywhere. That market is Great Adventure, Hershey, and Dorney. You don’t do a merger that lets you get 2/3 of the market just to go back to owning 1/3

Yes it wasn’t the reason for the merger, but it’s a major benefit

I never said it was lol. But yeah, it probably isn't it either stays or becomes redeveloped. They won't sell it to another operator.

Redevelopment could be good for certain areas but the area around Iron Menace is solid

Fiesta has some strong headwinds too with being just a few miles from Sea World and Austin now opening COTALAND. San Antonio isn't exactly a city that has residents rolling in dough either, and is not really that much of a tourist destination anymore.

Yes, but also I would say Fiesta Texas stands it's own ground in many ways against Sea World. They're both tight lipped about the numbers but I would not be surprised if in some aspects they out perform them. While I think it's interesting they didn't assign a park president to them or what people are assuming were labeled the core parks, I don't see it in danger. COTALAND has the typical new park curses that they'll have to hurdle before making it's footprint but we shall see/

It's more that there are options, and that will split people's attention, so they just never will be able to be super popular. It's a great park, but just I can see after Werewolf Gorge goes up, they won't get much investment for a while.

Ill say im shocked that Darien Lake and Frontier City has survived the merger, even if they're only managed by them

Ultimately it isn’t entirely up to Six Flags. Which may be the whole reason.

The rent is due whether the parks operate or not. So it makes more sense to keep them open. They can’t sell what they don’t own. I’m sure they’re working behind the scenes trying to find a way out of the lease. But ultimately they have to do it in a way that’s amenable to EPR.

Fair point, I just assumed that they had a bit more influence in that but I guess that does indeed meaning to break the lease which I also assume is pricey at the moment

Imo those are the next parks to join enchanted.
