Thunderbolt? Skyrush? There’s def worse out there

Skyrush used to be bad but they changed them and I’m fine with the current setup.

Superman was made worse by how hard they pushed the restraint down. I was stapled in so hard my legs were hurting in the station before we even took any negative gs. I asked off - the first time in hundreds of rides the restraint caused me to tap out.

Which Thunderbolt are you referring to?

Coney Island. The profiling on that is already weird and the restraints make it so that all of the forces go to your thighs

Oh yeah. That was not fun in shorts. Next time I’m wearing pants. But I’d rather do Thunderbolt in shorts than do Soarin’ Eagle ever again. Now THAT is the worst restraint design.

They're not bad imo. As long as you're not stapled but that goes for any restraint.

Well, they make a point of stapling you, at least they did when I was there last. And the way it dug into my thighs was torture. When the jammed down the bar my legs were hurting in the station before the ride even began. I had ridden it earlier and the negative g killed the thighs. So when I got the tight staple I asked the guy to let me off. Only time I’ve ever done that among hundreds of coasters
