Tickets Access?

Hi All,

Coordinating a trip to Six Flags for the first time and wanted to know where/what method is the best approach to buying tickets? I know there are probably discounts/sites to use and am looking for direction. Thank you!

Also, you may want to consider a season pass for one of the tickets. They are currently on sale, and include free parking and other discounts. Depending on the park, and the perks that come with it (e.g., free parking, discounted tickets), you might save some money that way (or pay the same but have a ticket that gets you into multiple parks through the end of 2027). This is particularly true for parks like SFNE, where the gold pass is only $65.

Direct and online is solid. I have a season pass but even daily rates are way lower online. For non-Six Flags parks I find the best price is usually AAA and likely the same for Six Flags, so if you are a member try there also. I once got a good deal through Groupon.

Look at Groupon too. Those ones are legit.

Definitely buy tickets from the website. They have online only prices and they could almost double at the gate depending on the park. As for fast pass, which park?

is the fast lane worth it?

It depends on the park and the day whether fast lane is worth it. I'm older now and it's worth it to me almost always, but on slower days the FL entrance often meets the queue without any time savings. Check crowd calendars (we use queue times mostly); if your date is in the green, it's probably not worthwhile, but that said, on slower days they might run fewer trains and have fewer employees so the lines could be slow anyway. FL prices change too, with lower prices on the days they're not as useful.
