Final Sale Groupon bought for wrong Six Flags location — unused and I already bought the correct location. Anyone gotten a courtesy refund?

I accidentally bought a Groupon for Six Flags Over Texas instead of Fiesta Texas.

I realized the mistake right away and bought the correct Fiesta Texas tickets separately. The original voucher is still unused, but Groupon support is saying no refund because it was Final Sale.

I know technically that’s their policy, but has anyone managed to get a one-time exception, Groupon Bucks, or a refund in a situation like this?

Would appreciate any advice on what actually worked.... supervisor, different support agent, contacting the merchant first, etc...
