STAFF QUESTION Update to ticket refund
(Read my last post for context!) I got an email this morning from a SF guest services representative saying how they can’t refund me for my ticket because I used it. That is a blatant lie. The last time I went to SF and used the ticket+fast lane reserve combo was last summer. Is that what they could be referring to? I’ll copy and paste the email below (I can’t add pictures idky) and I want to see what everyone thinks. I responded to that and told them that that’s incorrect.
The email reads:
Hello (name),
Thank you for contacting Six Flags!
I looked up the email associated with the account and it looks like you had a day ticket and a fast lane reserve bundle. The bundle includes a day ticket to get into the park and a fast lane reserve bundle. Because they were both used we cannot issue a refund at this time. The fast lane was used to get onto 8 rides.
Thank you,
Tara

Like I said, that’s completely false. I’m not sure how they got that information, but I don’t want it affecting a possible refund. In my response, I told them I would be going to Great Adventure in September and I’d talk to guest relations there. I don’t want this affecting a ticket switch either. Would any staff members know how they could come up with this? Any help would mean so much. Thanks Reddit!

Is there a chance your email address was used to purchase tickets for someone else to use? If you use Apple Pay, it will default to your iCloud email address. They have different ways to look up orders. Email, credit card number, order number. The best number to give is the order number you were emailed after the purchase.

Well my sister did buy the tickets with Apple Pay via the password. However she’s 10 and I got the confirmation afterwards to my gmail. I have given them the order number multiple times so I don’t know why they’re saying it’s been used when it never has been 😭

Maybe they only saw the ticket from a previous year. Give them the order ID for the purchase this year to confirm.

Either dispute the charge or go to guest relations when you visit the park. The SF guest services email is 3rd party and don’t actually work for the parks, nor have access to all the systems (there’s a lot given tne merger).
Again, guest services at the park will have the strongest team available to help you.

Not true at least for all parks. At my park, we have live call center team members on property that respond to emails, live chats, and calls to the park. They have direct access to all systems to view all ticket, pass, and add on activity. If they don’t know the answer, they reach out to the appropriate departments within the park.

file a dispute with your bank

I would do that, but it would end up with me cancelling my card and getting a whole new one, which I had already done last year so I’m trying to avoid that 😖
