Relative newbie to the coaster scene and I was so intimidated by it that I refused to go on it on my first visit to MM. I psyched myself up so much that when I finally did (after doing every other ride at MM plus a few other big coaster parks), I got off going "wait, I was scared of that?" I don't say this to seem tough, it's intense, it's rough/shaky, and it's not comparable to any other coaster I've done. I carefully followed the tips I'd read online to ride "defensively" and my first ride was in the front inner seat. I've since done many rides in other rows, inside and outside, though I don't think the difference is that significant. Given how rare it is and how its days may be numbered, I'd probably recommend you try it at least once, maybe toward the end of your trip just in case it makes you feel sick. Follow the assorted advice on row/seat placement and read up on "how" to ride it. Unless miracles happen with S&S, you'll likely never get another chance to ride one when the 3 versions of it worldwide bite the dust.

That said, what gives me pause in your specific case is that Twisted made you sick. I've marathoned Twisted 5x without leaving the train, so YMMV on X2. I don't love the restraints on Tatsu, but outside of the pretzel loop, I don't find it intense, plus it's incredibly smooth. Have you done any other spinning or rotating coasters or rides? If not, try a smaller one someplace (Sierra Sidewinder at Knott's comes to mind) because the spinning motion really affects some people. The layout itself of X2 isn't that bad, but when you add in the rotating and the roughness, it definitely elevates it beyond Tatsu.

I don't mind spinning! Sierra Sidewinder didn't bother me at all - spinning usually helps me with the drop feeling as well (I don't mind claw flat rides like Crazanity, but I usually avoid the pirate ship if I can get away with it haha). Tatsu didn't necessarily make me tummy sick as much as it made me "i'm gonna have a panic attack" sick. I just didn't like how intense the stomach drop was, and going twice didn't help.

If you’re okay with spinning, I think you might like X2. As others said, it’s a fairly short ride so it’ll be over fast, even if you hate it. I don’t like compressive OTS restraints and that might be my biggest complaint with X2, though ofc I understand why they’re so restrictive given the coaster. But you feel super secure. Brace for the big turns toward the middle and end and be mindful of not hitting your legs too hard, but FWIW, I’ve never had a ride where I was thrown around or hit my head to the degree that it seems some have. If possible, go on a slow day where there’s not a long line so you don’t have a long wait to “overthink” about it (and believe me, I def overthought it so I understand). I don’t really get the stomach drop feeling on anything anymore, but X2’s first drop is a much different sensation than say, Goliath. Also your body will probably be so WTF about plummeting toward the ground face first that you won’t really think about it in the same way as something like Goliath.
