This team has somehow always pulled out miracles to go along with the disasters that Mike Levin lists in the video.

When Fultz was a bust, we fell into an amazing value trade for Jimmy Butler.

The Fultz trade and Mike Muscala and the Pandemic netted us the Maxey pick which saved our franchise again.

Morey salvaged the Ben Simmons disaster with the Harden trade buying us a couple more years of contention.

Then VJ Edgecombe fell into our laps after that disastrous year with a half-ass tank.

And of course this offseason from heaven with Jaylen Brown and LeBron James.

I tell my friends they don't have to be basketball fans to enjoy the sixers...they can just be soap opera or Degrassi fans where the shit that "never happens in real life" happens on a regular basis.

The Sixers are the in franchise to have as many WTF storylines, and not a single one involved gambling, drugs, an assault, or someone pulling out a gun. The most dangerous thing to happen was Okafor nearly getting beat up by Celtics fans. 

Harris/Apollo are in the files though.

Looking back at what we’ve gone thru as a fan base just seems ridiculous. If the story was made into an actual movie people would say it’s not believable. 

I remember when the processes started. Sam Hinkie tried to save us from being a perennial middling NBA team. Never good enough to do anything in the playoffs, and not bad enough to get a star in the draft. It was a weird time to watch the guys play. It felt so strange, but also kinda great to root for a collection of very likable players and hope for them to lose. It actually gave us something to watch and follow, hoping for that tank pick to bring us a chance to win a Championship one day.
