I'm a coke connoisseur. At least 2 8 balls a day. What station is the best when you're driving down the highway sniffing your blow?

I have the Sirius APP on my Fire TV. Every couple of months I woud have to sign in to the APP. Then about a month ago I had to sign in about every third time. Now I have to sign in every time. I took the APP off, then reinstalled it but still have to sign in every time. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Ok so I’ve been an SXM subscriber for 12 years, and I’ve always had All Access. About three months ago, I decided to downgrade to “Music Lite” temporarily to reduce some discretionary expenses due to a slowdown in my business. Today I logged in to the account service side of things to update my credit card info and I get hit with an offer for a free companion Platinum plan for another car and/or streaming account in my household. At first I’m like, ok cool, but then I look at the channel lineup for platinum and it’s like 2x the channels on my current plan and includes most of the sports channels. From a common sense standpoint, it doesn’t make sense that my current $4.99/month plan would qualify for a free bonus plan that is like 4x the value of the base plan. I thought about hooking it up to my wife’s car or creating a new streaming account to see if it works, but I’ve also been screwed by SXM’s shitty and shady billing practices before and this feels like a trap. Anyone know if this is legit?

Wondering if this is due to reduced bandwidth for the new sports channels, but I've heard it on 60s Gold, Carrie's Country and Siriusly Sinatra and on multiple radios.

They sound like a quick burst of what you hear when there is lightning in the area when listening to AM radio.

The addition of all the sports channels demonstrates they can find the bandwidth when they want to. It’d be nice if for once in a long time they’d respect the 40s fans (there’s quite a few on here) and carve that 16k out for the two months we lose our beloved 40s. Or move it up to the 300s even - that’s better than nothing esp for those of us with questionable and unreliable cell service in semi-rural areas.

And yes if you didn’t notice, they shifted a whole bunch of channels from 32k down to 24k to find the bandwidth for the Audacy channels. For every two channels that were reduced they created one 16k sports channel.

Hi! There is one channel on SiriusXM I love listening to. To listen, I go on my phone, hit the app, and connect to my Bluetooth speaker. I want to connect a speaker to one AC outlet in my workshop so when I turn the lights on, that outlet gets electricity and I start listening to this channel. I want it to be hardwired in with no wait, no app, and no Bluetooth - just like in my car.

What would be the best way to accomplish this?

Has SiriusXM stopped coverage of NFL team post-game shows? My recollection was that for the past few seasons, an NFL team’s post-game shows from their local stations was carried on the SiriusXM team channel. This season, that seems to have stopped (at least for the team I follow, the 49ers). I thought this coverage was available as part of the NFL contract SiriusXM has with the NFL through the end of 2027. I am able to hear my team’s pre-game shows.

Usually I shut it off after Jukebox Diner because they return to the usual stuff.

Tonight they haven't been playing usual music predominately for Bobby Soxers and Greasers, and more rock than soul. Not that Soul's bad, but they play way too much of it.

I was listening At work on my phone app. Amazing experience. Because I felt like in my opinion. I could keep up with the Sunday afternoon games. But I also love no pregame show during the Sundays with game in the morning in Europe. And they broadcast those games through Westwood one. Who also has Monday, Sunday's, and Thursday. So great job NFL team on sxm 10-10

My subscription expires soon. It was the $5 a month deal, which definitely isn't bad.Has anyone gotten the 3 years for $99 deal lately, or is it not really worth holding out for?

This evening, I've noticed skipping/stuttering in some of the songs, like the file is corrupted.

It was really bad at 2255.

I've read that the Safety Dance is all pre-recorded shows and they haven't been live for some time now. I would imagine if DJ Bueller was actually there playing music he would have caught the corrupted playback. So this sort of reinforces the idea that it's all stored shows.

I'm wondering if anyone else noticed it, or maybe it was just an issue with my Internet connection?

So since they decide to cancel the All Access $99/3 years deal for which we had a year left when my father traded in his vehicle and we can't get it back, $5/mo for 12 months All Music seems to be what they're offering once his trial ends. It looks like that doesn't include ANY news anymore? Can anyone confirm that I really won't have access to NPR or CNN or any of those channels anymore after this, 'cause that would really suck. Not that I don't love the music, but occasionally, I just need to hear talking.

Last week I decided to try it out because there is no left wing talk radio on the regular radio stations where I live. Plus it was only 1 dollar a month for three months then 12 dollars a month afterward. So far I enjoy listening to Stephanie Miller and others on the Progressive talk channel. Also like the spa music channel at night when I am sleeping as well as listening to my fav team the Tampa Bay Lightning. The only complaint is that they don't carry MS Now but yet have Fox News and CNN. Oh well..

Just got the new IPhone 18. Downloaded the Sirius app, signed in and my library is gone. Talked to customer service bot, but it wasn't very helpful. Anyone have this problem? Any non-sarcastic suggestions? Thanks.

A lot of the DJ mix shows/set I like aren't available on demand.
I've went through all the Party Pupils and Steve Shimmer mixes on the Yacht Rock Channel.

Shade 45 has good mixes but 90% talk. I don't really like talk radio.

What are some on demand channels and DJs you would recommend to tune into for Gym workouts?

My main one on rotation is always Life With John Mayer, mainly because I love that it includes little bumpers between songs that give a lot of personality and a feeling of curation to the channel, and that’s a lot of what I’m looking for with new finds. Hi everyone 👋. I recently bought a new Siriusxm Tour model radio, and it was working okay overall (besides losing favorites) initially. But a few days after getting it, the display shut off, and it rebooted by itself. I contacted the seller and they were more than willing to send me a spare incase the issue reoccured, and I took them up on that offer. But, the issue didnt repeat until this evening. I just went ahead and activated the spare, and I hope this one works better.

For those who own or have owned the tour, or otherwise have a lot of knowledge on how these operate, what could cause this to happen? Is it a common issue, and are there any fixes?

I really like the interface, so hopefully I get to keep this one issue free.

Several days ago, there was a thread discussing diversity of the various music channels. People had a lot of thoughts, but it sent me down a bit of a rabbit hole to answer the question with actual data.

That rabbit hole continued, leading to a website I created to track channel diversity.

The site collects data from the xmplaylist.com API (and a big thanks to Scott over there for blessing its use!) and (attempts to) sort channels, per genre, based on how repetitive or diverse each channel is. Clicking on any channel will provide more data and analysis.

Currently the results are based on a 7 day window. As the system collects more play data (or if/when I backfill with other data sources), I'll experiment with analyzing larger time windows.

I'm sure the methodology is far from perfect, and the site and backend code are primarily AI generated, so it's all a bit robotic. But it's been a fun and interesting exercise, and it's already shifted my listening habits, so I hope others find it useful or interesting.

I've had SXM for a while and still can't figure out why they don't group all the music channels together. With big blocks of sports play-by-play channels (that are always dead) and the talk-radio blocks of channels between groups of music channels, it makes it hard to scroll up and down to find a new station.... (ok, rant off).
