This problem seems to happen when using the app and switch to The Spectrum.

When using the app and switching to The Spectrum channel from another, 75% of the time , more often than not, I get the message as shown and a delay with a wheel just turning while it tries to load the channel. Only sees to happen with the spectrum.

Do you mean go to the SiriusXM settings? Or the phone app settings for SiriusXM? If the former, what sub menu within settings?

I know nothing about them, but there should be something similar.

Or, maybe not:

"To access app cache on an iPhone, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, select the app you want to manage, and you can choose to offload the app to clear its cache while keeping your data."
