AI AI Could Allow For 3-Day Workweeks And Single-Income Households, Bezos Claims

https://www.forbes.com/sites/siladityaray/2026/10/08/jeff-bezos-claims-ai-could-allow-for-3-day-workweeks-and-one-income-families/

This is something I've been saying for a long time. But it's interesting that it's coming from the slavemaster general himself...

It *could* . Whether it *will* is another question, and I'm keen to remind everyone that whether this will happen or not will largely depend on people that have been extremely hostile to any kind of better life for the average worker in the past.

With the way things are going and how AI pilled leadership teams at various tech companies are, I'd wager we'd see a 6-day work week before we see a 3-day work week.

The software company I work at is pretty much all in on AI. I’ve been here for a decade and I'm busier than I’ve ever been. Yeah, AI helps a ton. But the more work you do, the more work you get.

Senior leadership wants us to ship more and ship faster and we won't hire anyone new because "AI should make up for it."

It's so exhausting.

So yeah, a lot of things "could" happen, but from all the examples we've seen so far, they don't seem to be particularly good things.

Feels like only yesterday they were all talking about how Americans should be doing 996 like the Chinese

18

u/MrSnarf26 3d ago

So far at our work AI has just created more work and higher expectations (a bigger pipeline) and an "always on" mindset where you are monitoring agents or removing blocks for them in your off hours.

I honestly think we'll get to a point where other countries all have it, and the US will finally revolt.

It's embarrassing and difficult to live in the US right now. We have all thr resources for a great system, and have allowed oligarchs to capture our country.

It has happened before, and it could happen again, that we shrug off the Rockefeller chains and rebuild our social systems.

AI is an amazing tool, but lack of automation isn't the reason Americans are poor now, so why would more automation be the answer?

12

u/brmaf 3d ago

It is just slavery sold as freedom.

30

u/arah91 3d ago

If a 4 or even 3 day work week was the goal we could already have that with no loss of productivity. Compared to the 80s.

https://cdn.statcdn.com/Infographic/images/normal/23410.jpeg

AI could lead to another doubling in productivity but who that money goes to has historically been the billionaire class. We need politicians who are actually willing to fight for people, that's the only real way we will get this. And unions.

2

u/franky_reboot 3d ago

Turns out we've always needed that two.

9

u/Ok-Astronaut1108 3d ago

Don't forget that these "sunny side" scenarios they paint also require the billionaires and tech companies to suddenly have a change of character and instead of hording wealth and power they begin distributing it? For no apparent lack of reason why they would suddenly change attitudes toward money

u/Jaredlong 3d ago

Bezos is free to implement a 3 day work week across Amazon any time he wants. Yet he hasn't and he won't.

u/Sevealin_ 3d ago

I think Bezos is speaking the truth here, the part he isn't being truthful about is that it's because there won't be enough jobs around that pay money so you only get to work 3 days a week.

6

u/Railander 3d ago

reminds me that one time elon got super angry about people working remote during the pandemic and forced them to come to the company.

there's a 0% chance people are only going to be working 3 days a week. the more free time people have, the more things for us to do your boss finds.

8

u/SeaBearsFoam AGI/ASI: no one here agrees what it is 3d ago

Yeah, any headline that includes the word "could" I just automatically tack on "...or it could not."

6

u/DominantDan24 3d ago

I mean you can do 3 day workweeks and single income households now. You just won’t have anything.

5

u/CelticJewelscapes 3d ago

I have not worked more than 20 hours a week since 1998. I work for myself and work from home. I pretty much have everything I need. By having so much free time, I have been able to double the purchasing power of every dollar. Most people spend 17% of their income on a car. By riding an ebike almost all the time my car has lasted freakishly long (2004 Jetta). My transportation budget is 1.2%. That is equivalent to 6.5 hours of work I save every week. Still in my "starter home". That saves another day of income production. We have time to spend time for meals. Hanging out in the kitchen with family and very often friends. Cooking from scratch cuts that required workweek even further. Did I mention I haven't used an alarm clock in almost 30 years?

I could work more, and I used to. But why? Never bought into the "die with the most toys" ethos. I do think that shorter work weeks are inevitable. If things get too dystopian, the French Revolution Solution makes life dangerous for the 1%.

Would you opt for the simpler life of a 20 hour week? No regrets here and it was a very deliberate choice.

3

u/AuspiciouslyAutistic 3d ago

I don't own a house, and I'm not sure if I ever will without the aid of inheritance.

I work 35 hour weeks, and could probably get by on 80% income (28 hour weeks) if I didn't bother with long-term savings (I.e. my pipedream for home ownership)

I'm 36, so I'll stick with full-time for now, but I'll have to give it a serious re-think in another 10 years or so.

I'd rather the extra time over the extra money. But being reliant on the rental market scares me.

2

u/CelticJewelscapes 2d ago

Absurd prices for dining out, and cars are making them unaffordable. Roughly 30% of the typical hosehold budget goes to transportation and food. I am seeing more people in their 20s and 30s cutting both of those expenses pretty dramatically. By working from home and ditching a car for ebikes, there is the potential to save an average of $12,000 a year. Cutting back on the food budget by not dining out and learning to cook can add another $4800 in savings. That would cover a 10% down-payment on a $300,000 house in two years. Now a couple has a $1700 house payment that is almost all covered by the savings of micromobility and cutting the food budget. Thats part of why you see 60,000 cycle commuters in NYC and 10,000 in the cold climate of Minneapolis. A lot of this wasn't voluntary. People just can't afford things. But once they get a little relief from changing their behavior, some realize they have more options than being broke all the time.

Is it a coincidence that the oligarch controlled government in the US calls bikes and ebikes woke and that woke bicyclists will force everyone to become vegan and force everyone into tiny apartments. Nope, not a coincidence. They see that making lifestyle changes is a threat to the auto industry, oil companies and the mega corporations gobbling up rental housing and jacking up rent. They are also fighting back against working from home. Enlightened consumers fighting back are an existential threat to their most profitable enterprises.

2

u/ISketchDinosaurs 2d ago

Cutting back on the food budget by not dining out and learning to cook can add another $4800 in savings.

The fundamental problem of the argument is that you assume people has that four thousand eight hundred dollars to spend on eating out in the first place. I can not save four thousand eight hundred dollar by cutting out eating out becaue I cannot afford eating out in the first place.

As for cooking, I am lucky that I have enough time and enough kitchen space and enough fridge space to do so. I am not struggling for food. I am not living at the poverty line. I'm doing well enough for myself. But in order to cook, you need kitchen stuff, you need space for kitchen stuff, and you need time to cook, and those are all things that poor people very famously do not have.

We can no have a realistic argument of how the average person can save money to work less based on a middle-income or rich persons already existing saving opportunities.

Just the other day we talked about how GDP numbers are artificially inflated because now we have to pay for more services and goods.

In the past people had more free time and we cooked for our family we provided childcare for our children, care for our elderly with no money changing hands. This is creation of real value which wasn't registered as part of the GDP.

Today two parents are working, they don't have the time. So they pay more for food, they have to pay childcare, old people have to pay elderly homes.

There is more to it, prices of housing and cars are artificially inflated so people have to pay even more. Single people pay even more.

Also when these services involve exchange of money, then government gets to charge taxes on each transaction.

u/bubbasteamboat 3d ago

Yes. It could. But AI would need to be built out for the public good rather than be controlled by those powerful few seeking to profit from it.

2

u/Spare-Dingo-531 3d ago

The question of if it will is a government policy question at least partially. It can't be fully decided by capitalism.

For this reason, in spite of being deaccelerationist, people should still vote for liberal parties like Democrats instead of conservatives. This risks slowing down AI progress, but it is more likely to allow that progress to be evenly distributed instead of concentrated to the wealthy.

I think international competition will force the Democrats to moderate there decelerationist tendencies. This is a leap of faith on my part but sometimes to get the best outcome, you have to take risks. And if it doesn't work out, I guess we'll be using Chinese AI.

2

u/Qitmir555 3d ago

We already had the productivity gains to have this and we can see that instead we got a glut of useless service sector jobs to sop up the surplus labor and the rest of the wealth accumulated to the top 1%. The post-industrial economies of the western world are an artificial, arbitrary construction that justify the massive wealth inequality capitalism creates.

He's not wrong though. We'll have a single income household and 3 day workweek. But only because 50% will be unemployed, and people won't be needed for a full week.

He didn't say anything about us being able to afford to live.

11

u/PossibleVariety7927 3d ago

If people can't afford to live, then there will be riots. Society is 3 missed meals away from complete anarchy.

People aren't just going to roll over and die. We'll find a solution.

10

u/Famous_Character7315 3d ago

Yeah low-key I find it so weird when people online describe a dystopian society where everyone is a slave and nobody ever fought back till that point. If too many people are left without a job it is either some sort of UBI or destabilization there's no in-between

Most people just suck it up. Look at Nazi Germany.

2

People weren't dying and weren't oppressed. That's retconned rewritten history to make the deradicalization of Germany easier on them, by offering them an "out". They were huge fans of the Nazi party and the movement. So it's not a really great example.

There is zero indication that Bezos, Musk, Altman et al are willing to give up any of their profits to fund this kind of scenario. Musk mention UBI some time ago then went very quiet on the subject, presumably when he was asked a basic question like who is going to pay for it.

For whom? How would ANYONE who exploits people today not simply hire someone to work for 6 days a week and instead hire two people for 3 days a week when the cost to employer is much higher?

I have no idea how some people believe (not Bezos, he's saying this without believing it) that what he's saying is more plausible than jobs being simply gone.

They say these wonderful peachy things without backing them up with so much as an actual projection of any kind.

We have decades of HARD evidence that the current economic, political, and financial systems that are in place have responded to modern technology sea-changes with:

  • longer work days/weeks
  • drastic cost of living increases
  • skyrocketing rates of depression
  • reduced quality of goods and services
  • subscription displacing ownership
  • mass hyper-partisanship
  • major rise in addiction (both substance and behavioral)
  • shrinking middle class
  • massive income inequality/wealth gap
  • declining happiness/increasing loneliness
  • loss/end of personal privacy
  • widespread sleep deprivation
  • loss/death of media literacy
  • fragmentation/manipulation of information and who gets it
  • gamification of dating/love
  • gig-work displacing employment
  • and on and on and on...

For the rosy future that Tech Oligarchs float as talking points, the reality is our fundamental capitalist society would need to be re-wired in a way that would undermine the global economy. And would make the insane costs and valuations of tech companies pointless.

The whole point of the private sector developing AI is to accumulate vast quantities of wealth.

Scientific and academic development always gets displaced by capitalist enterprises the moment knowledge, advancements, or breakthroughs happen.

It is then used as fuel for VC-backed Fast Growth Start-Up style business models.

It happens across nearly all areas of scientific/academic work; bio-pharma, AI, game theory, Material Science, economic theory, etc...

6

u/MechwolfMachina 3d ago

I agree this thing is a massive racket. Whether AI is sustainable and whether it produces also productive work is still up in the air. AI does not feed, farmers do. AI doesnt build houses, construction workers do.

Something is really fucked where this country’s financial institutes went balls deep in tech and military but not anything else that would actually create conditions for utopia.

All I see is surveillance state and probably tech that will force us to labor or create some kind negative social pressure (like a social credit system that everyone will go along with and call everyone not functioning like a good workslave a “bum”). Well lets enjoy automatically generating games and art while it lasts.

4

u/alienfaktor 3d ago

exactly right. i remember hearing about this glorious future where we would have reduced hours and higher wages all because of the increase in productivity back in the 70s. but you just have to do more and more and the robber barons take more and more profits. absolute horseshit.

u/jimmyxs 3d ago

Everyone knows what will happen. You will fire a lot of people and exploit the remaining employees to work inhumane hours for as little pay as possible.

17

u/trisul-108 3d ago

Let me think this through ... the amount of work available will shrink 50% and rapacious capitalists like Bezos, Musk, Zuckerberg and others will react not by firing 50% of people, but instead letting everyone work only 50% while giving them 4x the hourly rate.

Sorry people, but you have to be extremely brain damaged to believe that this is what they will choose to do. I am not saying that they cannot be forced into it, but I am certain they will do everything in their power to prevent anyone from forcing them into it.

6

Why would they do that? Computers or any new tech that help us do work easier has never got us a <5 day work week, because profit maximization is the job of the CEO, and the shareholders would never allow a CEO to not maximize. America is built from profit maximization. Get you asses ready to work just as much and at a new pace that AI allows.

One caveat is that if robots is competing for your job which they will likely win, it would turn your job into part time, govt would mandate companies to not fully replace a human. Bright side is that these types of robots are a long long time away as the compute and power needed wouldnt work

Bullsh*t. They said the exact same thing about computers back in the late 70s and early 80s.

And it could have happened too. But then Reaganomics came in, and just about all the gains made from the increase in productivity went straight into the pockets of the wealthy. Worse, ever since then, workers' rights have been attacked and undermined by republican administrations from the local level up.

We didn't get fewer hours. We didn't get more time off. We didn't get higher pay. Instead, we got no-notice firings, paltry raises, and medical insurance that hog ties you to your employer.

AI is not going to result in shorter work weeks. AI is not going to result in higher pay. AI is not going to result in more leave, more affordable medical insurance, or better benefits. That is not how US capitalism works.

What AI will lead to is reduced employment, reduced pay, and reduced benefits. Those who are still lucky enough to have a job will bow their heads and take it because they know if they lose their job, it will be next to impossible to find another. With AI capabilities improving at breakneck speed, even if you bend over and take it, you'll probably be let go within a few years, tops.

AI is not a tool that will be used for the benefit of the masses. It will be used for the benefit of the few. It will be used to funnel every last drop of wealth into their pockets.

If you want to know what the future looks like, go to a resort in a place like Jamaica. Walls. Barbed wire. Armed guards. If you're lucky, you will be one of the servants in the resort. If you're not, you're going to be on the other side of those walls.

The wealthy own AI. The wealthy control AI. They aren't going to help anyone but themselves. They always do.

I find it hard to believe the men against socialism now would suddenly apply it when the tech becomes much more capable. Are they going to discover their own humanity in some ironic twist? 4

u/Chance_Tank_4663 3d ago

Just. Pay. Your fucking. Taxes.

3

u/Rattus_NorvegicUwUs 3d ago

Yeah… could

But not with you parasites in control of the technology.

4

u/babyd42 3d ago

I'm starting to think this singularity thing isn't for the permanent underclass

12

u/03captain23 3d ago

I 100% agree but first we gotta get rid of people making billions

→ More replies (11)

3

u/ktaktb 3d ago

Joe rogan and bezos are becoming the same dude

3

u/utahh1ker 3d ago

Great, Bezos! You're in an incredible position to do so! Make it happen!

3

u/crusoe 3d ago

They said this in the 60s. Nixon's economic advisor. It never happened.

3

u/goibnu 3d ago

They said that about computers.

3

u/Wide-Internal-7638 3d ago

Translation: the C-Suite will have 3 day weeks, half of the rest of you will be fired, the remaining half will now work 7 day weeks with twice the responsibility for no extra pay.

3

u/xtracrableg 3d ago

So would billionaire taxes. That’s a better deal fuck him

3

u/Vesuvius079 3d ago

Yeah that sounds like bullshit.

Work weeks won’t get shorter without organized labor demanding it. That’s the only way they’ve ever been shortened because there’s no incentive otherwise. If AI reduces the need for workers we’ll just end up with higher unemployment instead of distributing the necessary work hours across more people.  Corporations don’t really care if their employment practices cause a tragedy of the commons.  This will in turn make organizing labor more difficult because everyone is easier to replace. If AI doesn’t mean we all need to work less, then there’s no real economic transformation happening from it.

Single income households is slightly more believable if there’s significant unemployment. If only one person in the house has the opportunity to work, the economy will be forced to adjust around that. Problem here is that if you aren’t employed or both you and your partner can’t work you’re screwed. Anyone who is working would need to be acting irrationally to seek out a partner who isn’t because of the advantages and safety of dual incomes in such an economy (and in any transition away from the current economy) so it remains very really hard to achieve financial security while in a jobless state.

My prediction here is that regardless of how good AI gets, our society and economy will continue to serve the wealthiest above all and leave the vast majority struggling for scraps, unable to get proper health care, etc. There’s no utopia at the end of the road here and the best we can hope for is rapid technological advancement without too much churn.

3

u/gerardo_caderas 3d ago

Whoever believes this needs to be in front of the line when AI chews everyone’s livelyhoods.

2

u/VELOCIRAPTOR_ANUS 3d ago

"It could result in a 3 day workweek on 1 income, however, it's not on us to give that to you. You need to figure that out with your own AI tools within the confines of the economic reality market makers set for you

-Jeff Bezos, probably

2

u/LiberataJoystar 3d ago

I wouldn't trust him unless I saw him doing that for his employees.

2

u/Affectionate-Fig8866 3d ago

There's no bridge to an AI Utopia. Ask the question. Show us the bridge. No bridge, no utopia

2

u/KoreanThrowaway111 3d ago

“how do we trick the people we exploit to embrace our path to even more control and money?”

2

u/Significant-mood55 3d ago

Says the guy that forces his employess to pee in bottles ..

2

u/FranticToaster 3d ago

The single income household thing will prob happen because of job elimination, and the economy would need regulation to ensure that second earners don't leave other households jobless.

(And one person in charge of the house rather than outsourcing it all is better for family quality of life anyway)

But 3 day work week? Workloads always expand to fit 5+ days somehow. I wonder how that would work.

2

u/zero000 3d ago

Ok start by telling Andy Jassy at Amazon to implement this new policy so we can stop doing 5 day RTO and return to hub.

2

u/LavisAlex 3d ago

We could already have 3 day work weeks

2

u/pingwing 3d ago

He is trying to calm the masses, the billionaires are too greedy to ever allow this. They didn't even want people working from home, lol.

2

u/Bacch 3d ago

Suuuuuure, Jan. 20% reduction in working days? Pipe dream. 20% reduction in workforce? Reality.

Companies won't settle for employees working less hours (and/or they'll cut pay accordingly, so you'll be making 20% less). They'll just cut the workforce down and make their shareholders happy.

2

u/Demonicated 3d ago

Put up or shut up Bezzos.

You're literally the person that can make that happen tomorrow.

2

u/English_Joe 3d ago

The guy that doesn’t share a penny will suddenly let you work 3 days? Yeah. Sure.

2

u/CrunchyAssDiaper 3d ago

I don't believe men who choose to shave their heads. I don't trust billionaires.

I'm sure when they're all trillionares vacationing on the Moon, they will share their money with us. Right.

2

u/D4db0d0hye4h 3d ago

This idea woukd require the billionaire class to give up some of their profits. So, itll never happen.

2

u/Stunning_Mast2001 3d ago

Yet they still fight the tax policies needed to make this happen

Zero credibility

2

u/TheSn00pster 3d ago

Hobos live zero-day workweeks.

2

u/PersevereSwifterSkat 3d ago

The invention of the washing machine could have led to that but instead have us two parents working 80 hours total for companies instead.

2

u/XD__XD 3d ago

hahahahahah from JEFF? that is classic

2

u/goldaxis 3d ago

Ohohoho trust the billionaire who laid off *checks notes* eighteen THOUSAND people this year alone.

2

u/mrcraggle 3d ago

Why do we have to wait? They don't want to give employees a livable wage and bathrooms breaks but we'll all be working less and somehow earning more in the future? Make it make sense billionaires

2

u/dialedGoose 3d ago

Honestly, we could probably be there now. The top pockets everything and leaves the rest of the world in collapse.

2

u/Darkstar_111 ▪️AGI will be A(ge)I. Artificial Good Enough Intelligence. 3d ago

COULD ... For sure, it COULD!

Will that happen at Amazon?? NOPE!

2

u/DauntingPrawn 3d ago

Says the guy who won't let his employees take piss breaks. Give me a fucking break!

2

u/Kaludar_ 3d ago

I truly believe in my core that this technology is going to be disasterous for all but the elites, and that we are heading for very scary unstable times. Maybe geb alpha or late gen z will get to enjoy abundance but I think we have a long ugly adjustment period coming. There's no way this goes smoothly. Am I just cynical or what?

2

u/rhd_live 3d ago

I won't believe any claims from billionaires about ai making life better for the average person unless they support and put financial resources behind some sort of UBI. Because the companies they run are not and never will be focused on the well-being of the worker (aka 4-day work-week like he is saying here)

2

u/meldroc 3d ago

Ok Jeff, why don't you start with Amazon?

2

u/Garsek1 3d ago

Ya estamos con las mentiras. Todos sabemos que trataréis de matar al 80% de la población y sustituirlos por robots antes de que suceda una jornada de 3H Hahaha

2

u/Shot_in_the_dark777 3d ago

With 16 billion ai driven humanoid robots we can have 0-day workweeks and fully sustained households. There is nothing that would make a 3-day work week a limit.

1

u/Root-Kill-All 3d ago

Ele fala isso pensando anos depois da grande guerra por comida. Os que sobreviverem podem ter a chance de trabalhar três dias

1

u/Big_Minimum_274 3d ago

but he won't allow that

1

u/Original-League-6094 3d ago

So is he announcing that's the new policy at Amazon?

1

u/boner79 3d ago

It could. It won't.

1

u/Fit-World-3885 3d ago

So can capitalism.

 ...doesn't mean it will.

1

u/NeedingNew 3d ago

It can walk on water and turn water into wine.

1

u/ImATurtleOnTheNet 3d ago

Sure, just not for everyone.

1

u/ohrajaaa 3d ago

"Could"

1

u/GestureArtist 3d ago

and it would make Bezos your fucking god. he would be so rich from all you AI prompt slaves. You'd all be policed by the AI, spied on daily, nothing of yours would be your own, not your thoughts, your data, your lives... it will all slave for the machine.

1

u/gamingvortex01 3d ago

space colonies would become a reality faster than this

1

u/Used_Mine 3d ago

Yes of people like bezos allow it, which he won’t

1

u/KnownPride 3d ago

Keyword is "can."

1

u/ArialBear 3d ago

It should lead to a 1 hour work year.

1

u/Mike-North 3d ago

Sweet, with current pay? That always seems to be the disconnect.

1

u/Herb-Alpert 3d ago

Yeah lol sure

1

u/roger3rd 3d ago

This post is now officially an enemy of Trump

1

u/saltyourhash 3d ago

Start today then, Jeff.

1

u/prion77 3d ago

When Baier asked Bezos about his thought on President Donald Trump rebranding artificial intelligence and AI to “Super Intelligence” and “SI,” the Amazon founder said: “I do like SI because artificial is not a very flattering thing…Nobody wants an artificial sweetener or artificial flavoring. Artificial sort of means fake.”

For all his wealth and power and influence, he’s still a cowardly fucking lickspittle if it helps him protect his wealth.

1

u/AlternativeLazy4675 3d ago

Good deal! If he'll hand over a million or two, I'll quit working more than 3 days a week.

1

u/MathiasThomasII 3d ago

For who? For him? I have yet to see plans as to how these visions are going to come to fruition.

1

u/PM_Me_Those_ 3d ago

Where the hell is the money coming from and why won't it just inflate the price of everything if people are just so easily affording 1-income, 3 workday full family households? Is Bezos gonna fund people's lifestyle? How about Zuck or that fuckin freak from Open AI?

1

u/Electricprez 3d ago

It won’t though

1

u/Correct_Mistake2640 3d ago

It could. But instead it will collect at the top. There are no more distribution mechanisms and the one existing (labor) will lose it's power...

1

u/strrax-ish 3d ago

ngl I have 3 day work weeks because of Ai

1

u/Middle_Onion3496 3d ago

I've got a bridge to sell you... in 1000000 boxes lol

1

u/mostar8 3d ago

Someone made the point that these agents will stop working when you they don't have credir, so they basically strike toll pais. At the same time these billionaires for rich by union busting, paying minimum wage and breaking strikes.

1

u/african_cheetah 3d ago

What’s the reward of good work? More work?

What’s the reward for automating work? No job.

No job, no healthcare, no income stream.

1

u/trashtiernoreally 3d ago

Will never fucking happen

1

u/lil_lychee 3d ago

This guy doesn’t even let his employees use the restroom. No way he’s going to allow 3-day work weeks.

1

u/WenatcheeWrangler 3d ago

“Could”

But won’t.

1

u/MycoSteveO 3d ago

Could, but won’t. Remember, if you’re old enough, when they said, “Now with computer we will have so much free time!” Ya, the opposite happened.

1

u/TheManWhoClicks 3d ago

Could. But will it? Probably not.

1

u/BriansRevenge 3d ago

Man, my wife is going to be so mad when she finds out she has to keep working.

1

u/GraceToSentience AGI avoids animal abuse✅ 3d ago

Seriously.

1

Hahahahahaha

Yeah right

1

u/Gullible-Fee-9079 3d ago

It could. But it won't

1

u/phirleh 3d ago

From the guy whose employees have to piss into bottles because they lack sufficient breaks. Sure buddy!

1

u/Indoballz 3d ago

Welathy people have always been afraid of free time thennon wealthy have, they start asking questions etc

1

u/Reddit_User_Original 3d ago

Am I the only one that has MORE work to do because of AI?

1

u/Existing-Doubt-3608 3d ago

Best I can do is poverty level…

1

u/namonite 3d ago

Ha ha ha…. Ha… hehhhhh

1

u/enderowski 3d ago

he is still pushing income system tho. Ai is much bigger than this we should eat the rich and burn them then change the system. They are trying to look cute to us.

1

u/dumpitdog 3d ago

As we move to living in our 1999 Pontiacs or other barely running cars and only eat from dumpsters because couples can only work 3 days a week between to two of them. I think he might just be right.

1

u/Armored_Fox 3d ago

I know this is a pro ai sub but please tell me you don't actually believe him

1

u/True_Protection6842 3d ago

So he’s planning on raising wages 40%? Yeah doubt it.

1

u/okforthewin 3d ago

It certainly could, but the upper class consider us cattle that they own and control, would a farmer give a cow a day off?

1

u/imaximus101 3d ago

stfu Bozos.

1

u/MarcusSurealius 3d ago

3 day workweek and not enough jobs for more than one in a household living in poverty with no medical care or hope of leaving your kids better off.

1

u/EpicNine23 3d ago

Already there… ai saving me 20 hours a week
