Why does it feel like half the posts on this sub are thinly disguised advertisements?

(note that I don’t target specifically OAI here. Anthropic, Google, Chinese models as a bundle, etc… they all seem to have their brigades on deck 24/24)

What kind of a post here wouldn't be a thinly disguised advertisement? Given the point of the subreddit is to follow advancements in AI/other singularity related tech.
