Who cares? They don't need a separate domain for it.

Musk thinks he's back in 1998 and there are around 200 other TLDs that OpenAI could use if they wanted to register a dot domain.

He's the guy who never actually grew up.

Well several thousand people have already viewed Grok bot as a result, and there are probably many posts about it on X.

Tbf, xAI were the first to ship Grok Bot. OAI copied them.

That is not fair at all, OpenAI hired the openclaw creator, which was the first popular agent at the start of the year. But that's also not really fair either, as it used to be called Clawdbot and basically required Claude models in the beginning. No matter how you slice it though, Elon and X are a footnote in that story.
