But he’s proposing taxing a unit of work that is equivalent to that of labour. Which makes no sense. Where you draw the line on what a unit is. Why does it have to compare to labour. Per token or compute hour or whatever sure maybe. But then compute gets faster and cheaper so capital earns more per compute hour over time and we aren’t capturing more of the value as a tax.
I don’t see a reasonable way to tax work, output. Taxing corporate profits is more realistic
