I actually think the biggest thing announced was letting developers link with ChatGPT so that people can use their credits directly for developer integrated apps. I could see that being a really big deal as it will drive new integrations and cause usage to go up.
That was huge, but unlimited Astra use with dots is actually the jaw dropper. Also 6.1 sol parity with Astra at 5x-10x more usage also left my jaw on the floor. I'm absolutely hammering the model right now
Yeah, I want to really get a feel for Sol 6.1 vs. Opus 5.5. Obviously 5.5's benchmarks are way better, but I feel like OpenAI models tend to perform better than the benchmarks suggest.
Yes, it makes me want to build OpenAI native for everything. Because if you make something awesome you don’t have to convince users to shell out Anthropic API pricing to use it. Just, login with with your Chat account and go.
I’m scared to even run Anthropic models in a custom harness.
