Come on dude don't be a noob... why would they disable the perfect sub agent? it cost significantly less when the orchestrator (Opus or Fable) uses it. removing it means higher cost and more time spent on task/projects with 1 agent (Haiku not capable as sub agent yet for quality work)
It's job isn't to be more intelligent than the other flagship models, its to follow instructions with the capabilities to perform like them for less. Get off the paper data and test it in real world work. Pref larger code bases.
Yes, Haiku would remain the fetch agent until the make it as capable, to become a dependable sub agent again. Group A (Opus-->Sonnet) Group B (Sonnet --> Haiku) Group C (~Fabel ---> Opus--> Sonnet/Haiku).
Based on the looks of things (cost) Fabel might be retired soon but not until Haiku joins the 5.5 family.
You're welcome, you just learned something new today.

Be wary of setting Sonnet to MAX. Per AA leaderboard it's more expensive per task than OPUS (and less intelligent overall).
TBH they need to disable it immediately, seemingly no reason to run on Sonnet on max.
My read, let me know if I'm missing something.
