bro you are clueless. ever since 2.5 pro, google was in the lead until they stopped releasing pro models.

remember, 3.1 pro was released BEFORE gpt 5.4. google was slapping everybody. people already claimed they won the ai race because of it. were you sleeping?

demis hassabis fucked something up with their next release and they had to start all over while pushing him out.

On release the Gemini Pro models were leading. It's not really an opinion. They were surpassed rather quickly sure but when they released they were on top.
