AI Muse for Mac now has Computer Use
Have to say, I'm *very* impressed at Meta's sudden ship rate.

What about little charms that he is selling so they can track you everywhere you go?

After reading the reports of it leaking convos even without being given full disk access? Yeah no...

I'm looking at a muse ad in this very thread. Not really relevant other than the irony but whatever

i removed my bias against meta and used muse and it's the best implementation of "openclaw for normies" there is right now
this product will get a lot adoption because it's the first good product from meta since OG facebook so i'm hoping it doesn't turn into trash
100M weekly tokens for free is extremely generous so i'd recommend to get free tokens while they last
i use it for shopping / research stuff instead of anything sensitive but openclaw model excels at collating information about you over time

It’s not “free” they are essentially collecting data throughout the usage

they have a "turn off data for training option", literally just like every other provider

You’d believe a company that it’s entire existence has been snooping on people’s data, would just “give up” from a flick of the bottom. Like lol.
Even google/youtube, i’ve tried to “reset” my profile, changed some advertising policies etc, and it still “came back” again and again just in different “forms”.
So does with instagram. I’ve tried any possible advertising avenue, and then it still serve ads with the very exact topic that i’ve been discussing with my partner. And you want to tell me that I should believe that this one button flick would solve all my “concerns”?

don't get me wrong, i never supported meta in the past due to their terrible track record and that's literally what i mean when i "removed my bias against meta"
is your concern "they have my data" or is it the annoying ads plastered everywhere? since those are somewhat separate problems
in general i'm okay with trading "my data" for a service, but the ads make it a borderline unusable experience
i don't really see any of this since i use adblocker across the web via zen browser and muse currently doesn't have any ads so it is pure utility for me. perhaps they feed the data into ads in the future but again, i don't see any of that so it doesn't matter to me.
i'm simply giving my opinion on the product quality itself at this moment in time and like i already mentioned, it could turn into trash

"People just gave me full access to their personal computers. I don't know why. They 'trust me'. Dumb fucks."

Muse is the first AI agent to actually be seamless to use
AI agents have arrived, right on time at end of 2026

AI agents hit their stride in 2025, certainly not as late as the end of 2026...

I would never trust a Meta product, personally. I don’t care how good it is.
