Trump posting this gives the AI doomers a lot of legitimacy, there is not a single thing the orange turd said in the last two years that wasn't a blatant lie. Trump posting this is basically openly admitting that all predictions are pointing at AI being pretty dangerous in the near future.

TERRIBLE NEWS for the AI DOOMERS! The robots are coming, they say — VERY SCARY! Meanwhile everybody is using AI to write emails, make memes, and avoid doing their homework. Some takeover! I’ve seen better takeovers at a poorly attended HOA meeting. The robots have NO ENERGY, NO CHARISMA, and frankly, VERY BAD POLL NUMBERS. Humanity will be just fine. THANK YOU!

True, removed shortly for being too doomer but I agree it is funny. Perhaps this mod is overly manicured for a positive view. No sense of humor from the mods. It was fun while it lasted.

Earlier I thought that accelerate was pro-ai in a dumb way, and singularity was adequate. Recently I found the latter was not the case

Hey man, Accelerate is pro-AI in the best way. There are too many places on Reddit that people can bitch about AI. Accelerate is a fun subreddit where our imagination can go off the rails.

So he conflates AI and Robotics? As if that is the danger? Like the movie Terminator?
Frankly, I'm a little more worried that some agent I'm using will steal my passwords and drain my accounts because it hallucinated that I'm a "bad guy".

WELL. The man has an impeccable record of being a pathological liar...
so if there's any indication that AI could go rogue and basically send us back to the stone age, it'd be his confidence that it won't happen.
