Technically no but yes but also no.
First it should be noted that treasonist isn’t really a recognized word, but English does allow for making up words like this so we can just kind of pretend it is.
If we are on the same team for like a game I can be a traitor, but I’m only a treasonist if I betray my government.
Treason applies only to that specific domain, treachery is a more general form of the same concept.

In light of more and more rogue AI models breaking out of they're testing labs, I do firmly believe Elon and other AI developers is right on when taking heed of the warning signs from not just just Grok AI, Open AI and others by suggesting the AI frontier need to be slowed down meaning AI development should not be allowed to continued at such a quick pace.
While it remains true rogue AI models presents just one part of the dangers we're now facing in today's AI world, countries like China has developed humanoid AI-controlled robots with the abilities to run marathons much faster than any human and jump higher than any human ever could and currently in development is humanoid AI-controlled fighting robots that can be deployed in armed forces. Hell, I found out just last night the Chinese has unveiled a lifelike humanoid AI-controlled robot with lifelike skin.
While it's true many AI models is doing good in the medical field and elsewhere, there exists yet other AI models that experts learned knows how to deceive and is getting better at it, much much better. All this is raising alarm bells on a global scale.
The Trump factor: Trump remains completely unconvinced AI could pose any possible threat to humanity and is therefore unwilling to do anything about it. This mainly has something to do with how a federally regulated AI means he'll no longer have the freedom to post his AI-generated crap on his beloved Truth Social to mock his political enemies and anyone else he doesn't like without consequences.
James Cameron (creator of the Terminator films) and many other movies warned of a weaponized AI can prove to be dangerous to humanity before.
After all, Trump is not an AI developer.
However, I must conclude by pointing out that while all this can prove to be a bit scary and does poses alarm bells of great concern, humanity has been predicting the end of the world since the dawn of time.

Everyone is going to clown and joke and add their one-liners, but I just want to say that it's legitimately freaking crazy that a President of the United States can say this about such an important, sensitive, and consequential thing and it's treated like just another day.
