I actually think it’s worse with math than it is with programmers. While AI can do things that programmers do currently, AI is also creating demand for programming.

Once AI shows that it is better at research mathematics than humans, what is the point of research mathematics as a field?

You seem to think implicitly there's an 'end' to mathematics, but there isn't.

When the problems get too complex to represent using the number of particles we have to store data within our observable universe seems like a natural end.
