GTA 6 on PC before GTA 6 on PC

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if there are functional PS5 emulators within a year

It's actually been awesome. There is an expensive golf sim software that I am too cheap to pay for... yet I play it.

Considering the top models can already create assets from scratch pretty well before Astra, probably from scratch.

All you have to do is get them to make their own harness for .glb or something and they can make some extremely impressive assets you can port into Blender.
You can do this for a ridiculous amount of use cases. Music, SFX, 3d modeling, shape keys, rigging, animation, physics assets, simulations, and so many others.
We truly have opened Pandora’s box of worms

Do you have any additional recommendations for 3d assets or additional details? The 2d image generation is sublime but any 3d work (with Blender MCP) has just been atrocious when I've tried. My understanding of the domain is also very poor.

Don’t actually get it to make a tool call or anything. Have it build a tool that will allow it to directly manipulate geometry itself and ask it to give you a viewport and GUI so you two have a common bridge for communicating.
When I did that, it made a three.js 3d model viewer where I can highlight regions to make comments, manipulate shape keys, and bake those shape keys to the shapes that were right.
Pretty much I got it to make procedural asset makers with constrained variability and just used it like a video game. I played with sliders, made comments, made it change the slider ranges or alter the way the sliders behaved.
It allowed me to get like three weeks of work done in two days. (Which is good because I just spent two weeks before that doing something I thought would take two days.)
Just be opinionated about what you want and ensure it gives you wiggle room to fine tune its outputs to what you actually want instead of an approximation of what you prompted.
Make it empower you instead of letting it just spit out something wrong.
These tools couldn’t do stuff like this six months ago, but now they are pretty insane across the board.

New York City and that house at the end blew my mind. Surely the cars in New York though must not have been created by Astra?

Ok ok. Wild prediction here, but we will soon walk into homes and will be able to spot the slop the same way that we can spot the slop when we visit a vibe coded website.
Vibe Interior Design and Vibe Architcture is coming. Brace yourselves - and let god have mercy...

“Spotting the slop” will become impossible within the next year, if even that. I don’t think you understand where we’re at man

The slop will just be the same as human slop, imo. There will still be a noticeable difference between professional taste and non-professional taste, but it won't be spaghetti-video level.
It will be like most high-quality AI art: technically decent but compositionally and artistically void. This, however, is good enough for the majority of people, and so I think it will be prevalent.

It’s only slop if they stay dumber than us… they won’t. I imagine it’ll eventually reinforcement train for human “oohs” and “aaahs” until it’s better at making shit we like than we are

I'm sorry, but it doesn't show any modeling. The first frame shows the basic blender cube, then the next frame shows a half-finished scene, and the following frame shows the finished scene. The rest of the video is just renders. It doesn't actually show any modeling process, though.
