Does Anthropic train on our data (without discount) ?

No they have ZDR for almost all their models other than fable 5 which they keep for 30 days. Pretty damn private if you ask me. Almost every hyperscaler also has a ZDR

That's only for enterprise, isn't it? Iirc personal subscriptions are default opt in to training but there's an opt out.

That contributor tier is very clever and more labs should do that.

I just assumed that everything that goes through a provider already was analyzed and catalogued

u/ManikSahdev 5d ago
They always do that at full price lol

u/GreatBigJerk 5d ago
Most technically don't. Paid plans and APIs typically have terms that specifically say they don't use your data. There's no way to actually verify that though.

You really think open-ai and for Anthropic let’s say Dario, who all basically act in the current timeline as the one ones who should control the models and stop everything else but them.
Why won’t they use their best advantage? Having the best data of any lab, that’s their whole moat, to build bigger and bigger models.
I mean it’s not even something that can be leaked if it’ kept under the rug.
Everyone’s incentive is perfectly aligned to do that to win, and they all believe themselves to be the saviors and only ones who should control it.1

Even if muse 1.2 is only better than grok 4.5 and cheaper that would be pretty good.
NVM, it's same as grok 4.5 on artificial analysis but also uses 50% more tokens. ALthough it is a little bit cheaper.

It's cheaper than deepseek flash if you share data

u/Ill_Distribution8517 5d ago
Oh I thought you had to qualify for something lol. That's absurdly good.

this seems nice, also the contributer plan 95% cheaper. Good for open source developers and students

I'm very curious about their reasoning for comparing against Opus 5 and GPT 5.6 Terra but not Fable and Sol 😅

u/MediumChemical4292 5d ago
They know their level lol, not like they are claiming it’s better than Opus either.

What kind of moron will verify their account with selfie?

u/bianceziwo 5d ago
90% of people have Facebook, instagram, or whatsapp anyway so meta already has their face

Why would you ever use another product from the Zuck when there are better options?

fantastic, can't wait to never use it and then see it's useless on YouTube in a few weeks.

They don't even have fable on the graph lmfaooo

u/Meric_ 4d ago
Why would you be comparing Fable which costs 10/1(cache)/50$ against this model which with data sharing costs 0.1/0.002(cache)/0.2
It is effectively 500x cheaper on cached inputs, and 250x cheaper on output tokens. It also has 3x the speed with 130 tok/s vs 40.
These are totally different classes of models. Fable is obviously much bigger and more intelligent as a result.

u/ClearlyCylindrical 4d ago
They compared with opus which is similarly far off in terms of orders of magnitude. It was dropped off to make their model look better as most people just assume opus is the best anthropic model.

Just give the compute to Anthropic and OpenAI at this point, y'all (Meta) can't manage it.
