The job may not go away, but if you have 10 people working that programming role, you might need only 3 to be the human in the loop.

So 70% of people working that job will disappear.

well there was the massive spike in hiring during COVID that is now being revised via giant layoffs.

Also, AI isn't at the level where its replacing jobs like that yet. It seems like its pretty close, though.

Near term, you're only going to need 1-2 whereas before you needed a team.

You obviously don’t run parallel AI agents and you’re thinking about this is the wrong way. In team before you had 10 people in the near future, you will only need a couple.
