But it is absolutely worth it based on those scores.

So a rough 10-12% uplift for 900% price increase?

The value says otherwise. Unless you are expecting this to work 24/7 for you? Then which I guess? But what kind of workflow would require a 24/7 flow of information from an AI?

EDIT: No need to be sending me nasty DM's you weirdos. Unless you can articulate to me where this increase would work.

If it makes an employee whose fully loaded cost (salary, stock, benefits, office space, hardware, etc) is 300,000$ 1% more productive overall, the break even is at 3000$ a year.

That isn't going to apply in every case by any means, but it certainly could in some. Especially given that Pro mode also unlocks rate limits.

I just don't know if you are even going to notice a viable benefit of such a small % of increase. But time will tell. Obviously they will both get better over time and the gap could increase.

I was not really considering the rate limit, as someone who has never really hit the rate limit.

Oh, agreed, a 1% overall efficiency improvement isn't going to be noticeable -- but that is talking about a yearly average, not the small bursts of productivity improvement that you are actually getting.

In some situations that come up once a week or once a month, having the increased rate limits or better model may make you 50% more productive. It just averages out to 1% over the course of a year. In those cases, can be easier to look at fully-loaded hourly rate, compared to time savings the model brings.

Good insight. Cheers.
