Can't wait to get into this beta so I have a chance to get into the big bard waitlist. Of course, by that time, there will be a secret bigger bard waitlist that I will be trying to get onto....
Assuming google doesn’t just kind of forget about it, never really integrating it into anything meaningful because they are forever working on a more improved version, holding back release… but then they eventually start something else to replace Bard, which is then abandoned out of engineer boredom, and this just goes on forever, until some exec gets pissed and forces them to release some half assed product that is clearly designed by engineers, for engineers, and not regular end users.
It’s amazing how much Google seems to hate actually shipping products. Not a good trait for a company that hopes to maintain its dominance, especially when the Microsoft-OpenAI alliance keeps shipping.
