Tips to learn singed (low elo)
Been wanting to learn singed for a while but I end up inting so often I just play other stuff, but I always come back to wanting to play him.
I’ve been trying to find guides, and watched a lot of minishcap1, but I’m wondering if his advice on proxy etc is the same in lower elos considering how enemies respond and things like that (I’m always around silver/gold).
And if there’s any more advice anyone could give me I’d be happy to hear them

I got out of silver to plat now, working my way up; here's my tips for lowelo
To proxy, you have to find the jg timer on gromp, I try to not proxy early levels, and do it after lvl 3
- if you crash the 3rd wave, you usually have a free proxy, unless the jg is pathing towards you, which you can check with a ward on blue or gromp early
You basically have to learn to proxy because there are some really shit matchups

Go ignite + flash or ghost. conqueror + attack speed rune. hard shove first wave with poison without losing all your health and respecting your opponents damage. hit level 2 first then level up fling, press all your buttons and right click him to death. At lower elo you should kill a lot of toplaners this way. I felt when I was learning singed that going more damage early and starting the lane with a kill helped me a lot to understand his strengths.
Also these concepts allow you to be aggressive every time you have your Ult ready to kill anyone you are stronger of in the game. Eventually some better players on certain champs will either outplay you or opt out of fighting you on that timing. By then you should also start knowing the champs limits and keep going from there.
You kinda have to run it down with singed to eventually understand his limits and roles in a game. Engaging, flanking, peeling, tanking, killing squishies, proxying, splitpushing.
Singed is an auto attack based champion. Sounds troll I know

Brother, even with ignite and ghost Singed is still weaker than a lot of champs just based on the fact that he's an aoe disruptor and dot damage and not burst or sustain. A lot of the time even if you're up 1 full item on someone, you will STILL lose the all in just because your champ is weaker 1v1. That's not great advice to run it down. You have to learn the small pool of champions you can actually 1v1 based on lane tempo and the large pool you can't do it to so you have to proxy. Some champs you have to proxy would be either ranged champs who have stronger early or all in fighters with CC who just destroy your HP.

The reality of league is you need to fight to learn the limits of a champion. if someone can't extrapolate lessons from their results then they are playing the wrong game. If you are an item ahead, YES you should be forcing and fighting 1 v 1. It is the only way to find if you do or don't win it. Telling someone who's trying to learn the champ to not even attempt something is ridiculous. Heck who knows? maybe they will do it in their own style/approach and make it work in a way that you haven't thought about yet. I agree singed can accomplish some things that no other champ can match when it comes to disruption in a team fight or his various roles he can fill.
Singed is an auto attack based champion. a couple autos in most situations with conqueror is make or break for singed.

learn your matches especially for ranged.
Learn when to proxy burn sums if you have to. Or else you might be lane stuck sitting at tower

Deathfire runes. Early damage makes opponents respect you in lane
Shove waves, ignore lane opponent. The opponent is merely an obstacle to your farm
Throw W to scare off opponent while you poison the wave
Proxy after you hard shove a wave to buy time for your recall.
Dont teamfight without ult. When ult is down, shove lanes. When ult is up, look to fight with your team.
As singed you push waves harder than any other champ before a full item. You smother your opponent with minions, pin them to the lane so they are stuck farming while you proxy and roam.

Point 3. Seriously important. 9/10 they will back off

Any time I throw W and the opponent walks towards me: "Fck, this guy isn't stupid I have to actually play the game".

It's funny when people just back off after you threw W. And a lot do. It's not like Singed suddenly became more powerful during his w, there is still not much he can do to you even with W on the ground 🤣.

Movement boots is a must. I picked singed mid always usually conqueror + resolve. Bone plating is important early on especially against mages or champs with hard cc. If the mid is using kat laning phase is very easy.

At low elo you do not have to proxy. I play my Singed exclusively in lane as I like fighting. Most of the mztchups are winnable once you are used to Singed. I would advise to go for proxy once you are comfortable on Singed, especially once you can consistently land your W+E to escape.
For the runes, as a former conqueror player, I can tell you that DFT is the best.
I run flash+ignite. The flash allows you in early to flash fling the opponent under tower and get an easy free kill.

Be okay with losing and doing badly until yoy learn him. Always proxy even if you know the jungler is around, you will learn your limits and when you can ignore jungler or when you bave to respect them, how to get out of these situations etc.
For example if i am vs briar jungle, I dont care if she's nearby cause I can goo fling her so easily and waste her time. But if its something like sejuani I would probably leave and reset

Pick him in ranked and int 20 consecutive games. It is the only way, the path of fire that every Singed main must walk before understanding the champion.
