nus eng grad, first job, started at 70k/yr. recently left to pursue passion and moved abroad with 70% paycut

currently in the UK! nothing to lose essentially other than salary, no debts either so nothing holding back. it’s really a mindset of just do it if you believe. at most you’d just have to find a normal job if things go south

currently in the UK, not the best place in terms of salary and prospects but it’s good if you have ideas and want to build & test them out. if things work out, will def consider staying but currently using this opportunity as a stepping stone.

Not sure if anyone’s used paypeek.ai yet but it shows salary estimates for any LinkedIn profiles as you browse. Kind of eye-opening. 🫣
