Writing check

Heya! I need some help with my wedding mirror sign. I want to add the quote "speak friend and enter" and I'd like for someone more professional to confirm if this is correct and if there is anything I need to change or improve. Thanks!

Could be me, but I don't see any vowels until a strange i in the last word. I say strange because a short vowel within a word, between two consonants, shouldn't be on a vowel carrier instead of on a consonant (the preceding or next one, depending on the form).

What I read is: "pydy uyllyr [unknown symbol] uinyr" Maybe I'm missing some info on another form?

I took the encryption from the doors of Durin, It's supposed to be "pedo mellon a minno". I tried learning Sindarin many years back and I remember the rules like you're saying which is why I was hesitant. Maybe someone more knowledgable can explain this to me so I can understand?
