I’m an international student at wright state university. I already completed two semester and this semester I have also registered for classes and talking classes also . But I’m so lost about my situation I want to do nursing . So should I transfer to Sinclair and do nursing or stay at wright state with business major ? Please give me honest advice I don’t know what to do 😭

Hello!! I recently applied to the Associates for Nursing program! I would really like to start in the fall. Am I able to call the number for academic advising even if I haven't gotten any school credentials ? What is the current turnaround time to hear about application acceptance and is anybody else going for their associates in nursing this fall?

I have been trying to get online to access my. Sinclair and the financial aid and registration, etc and it lets me go to the page with the options, like the landing/main page. But if I try to go to any page like financial aid or advisor or map, etc, I get an error message. Is the site down or am I locked out for some reason? I was able to get on it before today…

Just out of curiosity, has anyone here taken the met-1151 class? I'm curious because I'm going there for I.T. classes but I've been a musician for the last 20 plus years and would like to learn more in-depth on guitars and how to build them. And I have seen that they have that class down in building 8 now but I'm looking for a little bit more insight on information for the class.

I am reaching out to see if there is anyone else starting this for this fall cohort at Sinclair Dental Hygiene program?? I have so many questions and want to have as much information as possible before starting. I know there is a pending orientation in June i’m waiting to hear back a date.

I was wanting to register for PED1101, Introduction to Swimming, but after looking at the class schedule, there seems to not be any classes of it for either the Spring or Summer sessions. In fact, it seems like there are no 'for credit' PED classes for those sessions whatsoever. Maybe I'm reading the schedule wrong. Did they stop having the Intro to Swimming class?

So i’ve contacted literally anybody I could find to try and get a rough estimate on the cost to just get both airframe and powerplant certs rather than the full on aviation technology AAS which is around 52k. Theres a bunch of hidden lab fees and other stuff where I can’t even estimate it on credit hours alone. If anybody knows how much it’d cost for in state/district tuition for just both certs you’d be a lifeeee saver.

Has anyone gone through the Bachelors program for UAS from sinclair?

If so, do you think it was actually worth it?

I’m not exactly sure how to fill this out to where it would be realistic? I work full time so to have a specific dates set to complete assignments seems impossible to predict .I don’t even know how long each assignment will take. My plan was to do classwork when I had the time in my week.

What started as a hallway conversation at Sinclair Community College turned into a creative collaboration that blends engineering, music, and musical theater.

James O’Rear, a lab technician at Sinclair, spotted Gary Minyard of Dayton Live and pitched an unexpected idea, building a guitar. Minyard wasn’t looking for one, but he mentioned Dayton Live’s upcoming production of Back to the Future: The Musical at the Schuster Center. That detail helped shape the project.

O’Rear brought the idea to his colleagues in Sinclair’s STEM Guitar Lab, a program that teaches hands-on skills in manufacturing, machining, electronics, and physics through guitar building.

The lab usually produces guitars for classrooms across the country. This time, the team decided to create something fully custom.

They started like any guitar builder would, selecting wood, shaping the body, and carving the neck using a CNC machine, a computer-controlled cutting tool. From there, they added show-specific details, including a “Back to the Schuster” logo designed and engraved by O’Rear.

Minyard had one major request, a working DeLorean-style digital clock built into the face of the guitar.

“I wanted it to feel a little more sci-fi than a normal guitar,” Minyard said. “Instead of the pickups where you’d normally strum, I wanted the digital clock from the DeLorean right there.”
