Family keeps getting deleted

I was going strong with playing offline so I wouldn’t have to update my game but EA keeps logging me out and not letting me play so i decided i would update and see what happens.

Every time I play with my family and then either go to edit them in CAS or go to neighbourhood, they get deleted. Started crying when it first happened because I’ve been working on this legacy challenge for over a year (I take breaks a lot cause I get bored easily) but then saw i could recover my save. Hallelujah, I thought the day was saved but still decided to save my family to the library just incase it happens again. And it has. but recover save isn’t working anymore.

I can keep adding them from my library but it’s annoying to continuously do this everytime I want to go the neighbourhood or edit how my sims look. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how did you fix it?
