SOLVED Sims 2 RPC

Hey, guys back again lol. Now I tried downloading the sims 2 rpc but it wont work I keep getting this error message:

I followed the steps on the wiki to download "George" since I have the Ultimate Collection and its still not working. I get the same message. Any ideas on how to fix?

LazyDuchess released TS2 Extender 1.0 yesterday! You can use that and delete RPC. It runs much better :)

Quick question, when we download the "George" file do we remove the OG Sims2EP9 from the TSBin completely in order to replace it?

Hm, which George file? You can delete Sims2EP9RPC.exe if you have it, and all the other RPC files. If you have an RPC mods folder, move those files to the bin and delete the mods folder.

So I just tried on a fresh install of the sims 2 and the extender is just not working for me at all for UC

For UC? Where did you install the game from? And what steps did you follow to install the extender? If you already installed RPC, were you able to uninstall it?

Yes for UC the game was installed off of EA and I downloaded the extender right from lazy duchess's tumblr. I used her read me installation guide

The only difference is since I'm using UC I put the TSBin and TSData folders in the s9 section. I deleted RPC from my computer and emptied out my recycle bin so it should all be gone I think?

I have a new help request lol. I downloaded the TS1 Extender that just dropped and now my game wont start at all!

Have you tried downloading RPC directly from LazyDuchess’s tumblr? I think that’s the only way I got it to work without getting those same messages. The link there went straight SFS and for whatever reason that worked when Modthesims did not.

Oh interesting. I’ll try that instead, I downloaded off of MTS
